It is an oast house from the days when the hop industry was at it's peak (1810). Set on the old cliffs where the Channel use to meet England, surrounded by fields and sheep, the Saxon Shoreway Retreat at Huggit’s Oast looks out over the Romney Marsh, Kent. We have two lovely bedrooms, both located on the first floor with the bathroom across the landing, however this listing deals with The Round Room bedroom only. Breakfast is served downstairs in the dining room that leads out to the guests patio. The house is clean but it’s a home – so feel free to unwind and put your feet up without the worry of whether a cushion is out of place. All foods and drinks are sourced locally or homemade. There is only one bathroom for our guests, so we tend to only rent The Round Room bedroom – £70 per nig...It is an oast house from the days when the hop industry was at it's peak (1810). There is only one bathroom for our guests, so we tend to only rent The Round Room bedroom – £70 per night, per couple – or, (if you have an extended group) you can rent both rooms and share the bathroom with people you know which is £130 for both rooms on our other listing. We never rent out both bedrooms separately. We have two friendly dogs, so feel free to discuss with us if you’d like to bring your dog. Mark & Lizzie Winwood Mark is a lifestyle photographer and trainee meditation and mindfulness tutor, Lizzie is a natural therapist and yoga and mindfulness teacher. We offer our wealth of experience to our guests, please make appointments for treatments at time of booking.More
