Fine modern apartment with views to sea and lift access. This 2 bed apartment accommodates up to 6 people. There is ensuite to master bedroom and a family bathroom. Large living room opening onto large south and west facing balcony - ideal for evening drinks as the sun sets! Inside there is a large separate kitchen and entrance hall and inner hall to bedrooms. The apartment is equipped with TV,DVD player and WiFi. The kitchen has hob, oven, microwave, washing machine toaster electric kettle, mixer and sandwich maker. Outside a fine shared pool gets the sun almost all day and gives scope for a decent swim and with a very shallow section for very young children (about 15cm deep). There are sun beds around the pool. The apartment met our expectations: clean, spacious, beautiful view from the balcony to the ocean, close to the beach.

When booking the apartment through the owners, the communication was very good. Quick responses. Smooth transaction without any problems. Outside of Xmas, Easter (Early Spring) and Summer an 6% discount (rounded up to nearest £) may be offered for only 2 people sharing one bedroom or for seniors (over 60 yrs). Both discounts cannot be taken. There is a Damage Deposit required for each rental of £200 per holiday rental. This is re-paid if there is no damage or breakages as reported by our local agent. Please note in reply to an inquiry we will give a final full price quote to which there are NO additions. A booking taking a short weekend break (typically 4 days) will be priced at the highest daily rate for that period. As most costs to us are fairly independent of the time spent there the minimum charge will be £250 plus the booking fee charged by holiday Lettings for the time booked.

About the neighbourhood
The Algarve is normally blessed with excellent weather and if there is rain (normally out of summer season) it is hard but normally very short lived as the clouds come off the Atlantic and soon pass over to provide more sunny weather. The area is relatively green, being on the coast and getting the occasional rain shower and is not generally dusty and dirty from barren dryness. There are interesting coastal towns from Faro, Portimao and Lagos, being big old established towns to small country villages and hamlets with traditional white houses. Roads are generally well maintained and pretty quiet making driving stress free. Behind the coastal strip are the Mountains rising to several thousand feet, with distant views right back to the sea, Portimao and nearby coastal towns and villages.... more

How to get there
Airport: Into Faro: 50.0 km
From the Airport there are a number of Transfer Companies as well as private taxi services. The Transfer companies use mini-buses to take a number of passengers to resorts in an area so might not give you a direct journey, but they do not go far out of the way calling at resorts on the route. There is a regular bus service to Faro from the Airport and from there express buses which include Armacao de Pera in the schedule of trips, but it is a slow way to travel. A Taxi is quickest and most expensive, but Private Hire cars are available from the airport which can be hired for the duration of your visit and returned to the Airport as you leave. We can help with names of likely Hire Companies or Airport Transfer Mini-bus companies..
