Villa
Villa Camilo is a contemporary luxury villa located in an exceptionally beautiful location on the headland of Ponta da Piedade and within walking distance of Lagos.
The villa is finished to a very high standard with stone floors, soft rugs, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, a gas fire, high spec kitchen, an infinity pool and rooftop hot tub with sea views. Each bedroom is en suite with a terrace. Living and sleeping areas are set out over one level.
Outside there are a number of separate terrace, roof and garden areas for private relaxation and sun lounging, an infinity pool with views to the sea and a gas BBQ area.

There are steps leading to all entrances to the villa so it may not be suited to people with limited mobility. There is no barrier around the infinity pool and a number of unguarded high ledges around the villa making it unsuitable for mobile babies and young children.
Portuguese law requires quite between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
Please do not stain the linen, furniture and towels with self tan or sun lotion (brands that advertise as 1 application only are likely to stain).

About the neighbourhood
Ponte de Piedade is a beautiful penninsula with stunning beaches, golden cliffs and rock formations including Camilo Beach (4 min walk) (hailed by the Huffington Post as the most beautiful beach in the world!), Praia de Dona Ana (10 min walk) the Ponta da Piedade lighthouse and cliff boardwalk (9 mins). The villa is only 20 minute walk from the centre of historic Lagos (20 mins).
The location is the starting point of some of the most beautiful walking, running and cycling pathways in Portugal and an ideal base for golf and water sports.
Please Note: There is construction work being carried out in the area but guests have reported little/no disruption.
Getting around
While a car is recommended, should you prefer to arrive in Lagos by train or bus or by pre-booked transfer we can provide you with all the information you need. There is a regular local bus service for getting around and taxis are easily accessible.

How to get there
From Faro airport - the journey time to the villa by car is approximately 1 hour. Guests will be provided with a Welcome Pack including detailed driving instructions to the Villa prior to arrival.
If guests wish to take public transport or are arriving from another location, the host will be happy to provide directions and travel tips.
