Excellent find for those who look for a quiet haven within the historical centre On the 3rd floor of a typical building, this refurbished apartment has been recently decorated in a contemporary style. Truly luminous, this one bedroom apartment has: a double bed (140x200), and a good size wardroble, a very modern bathroom with shower, and a very inviting living/ dining room with a sofa bed for a 3rd person. From its big window with views that go far out, you can look over the fancy backyards in Principe Real. Here you find a comfortable sofa, a small table for two and a flat screen tv, to spend the in-between hours when you are not out discovering all the gems in Principe Real and the historical centre. By the side of the living room, a fully equipped kitchenette, where you will find all the utensils and equipment if you ever feel you miss cooking your own meals... There is Wi-fin in the apartment, which is perfect for a couple. For a short, a medium or a long stay, you will find it difficult to leave this quiet nest. REAL PRINCIPLE AREA Príncipe Real is the trendy neighborhood in Lisbon, being the place par excellence for new restaurants and concept stores. Located above the Bairro Alto, the bourgeoisie cohabits with bohemia on a hill known for its old palaces of the nineteenth century. Collectors of all hair, investors and creators are not mistaken, they took over from the Portuguese aristocracy and today occupy the many palaces of this residential area. the district has kept its charm, with Portuguese vintage shops and stylists' workshops. Walk along the rua Escola Politécnica, before going for a coffee near the cedar of Lebanon centenary of the garden of Príncipe Real; where you will find every Saturday morning one of the biggest organic market in the city. The history Príncipe Real was born on the ruins field left by the earthquake of 1755. Responsible for rebuilding the city, the Marquis de Pombal, strongman of the country under the reign of Joseph I, sowed these steep streets of beautiful aristocratic homes. This district was named Príncipe Real in honor of D. Pedro V, son of D. Maria II. Principe Real and its concepts stores ... On the main avenue, many antique shops, ready-to-wear and art galleries remind you that you are in the most trendy area of Lisbon. Within the Palate Ribeiro da Cunha built in 1877 the concept store Embaixada ac-picks many creators and artists from Lisbon exhibiting their works of design, crafts, fashion, gastronomy and Portuguese culture. Real Slow Retail is the other concept store not to be missed ... Also located on Príncipe Real Square, a stone's throw from Bairro Alto, it offers a selection of sharp products and brands from around the world! Sotao is a 120m2 showroom that looks like a private loft. Pedro Santos, a painter, presents his favorites from all over Portugal. His passion for vintage furniture makes us travel in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Principe Real, restaurants and bars Taberna da Rua das Flores - This tiny restaurant was once an old wine cellar for locals. The food is delicious and the atmosphere really authentic Athalo Real - Located inside Embaixada, it is a paradise for meat lovers. The old palace kitchen has been transformed into a charming restaurant with a lovely garden overlooking the Lisbon Botanical Garden. A Cevicheria - Located in Principe Real this Peruvian restaurant of raw fish offers the best ceviches of the city! Attention, you can not book so it is better to arrive before 19h ... otherwise you will do a little queue while tasting a delectable Pico Sour cocktail made in Peru. K.O.B. - Located in Principe Real this sophisticated steak house will be an exceptional meat! The origin, the cut and the quality of the meat are the piece of resistance of this varied card, organized by country and by duration of maturation. The wines also deserve to be mentioned because it is the promise of a perfect alliance between the excellence of the meats and the nectars Casa Da Praia - In a tiny room with walls lined with bottles, a con-vivial welcome by a Brazilian woman in love with France. You will taste delicious ta-pas accompanied by very good wines ... Special mention for the musical programming which from jazz to Samba, while passing by the French song will make you spend a festive and cordial evening! Principe Real and transports It is one of the neighborhoods in the center of Lisbon that has no direct metro station or tram station. By metro, you can get off at Rato, Baixa Chiado or Avenida stations. Rato being the nearest station, then ask passers-by! By bus, the number 758 stops right in the middle of the district, in front of the Jardim do Principe Real and right next to the Embaixada ... LISBOA BY NIGHT We advise you at the end of the day to lose yourself in Alfama, starting from the highest hill in Lisbon, Miradouro Senhora do Monte and stroll according to your desires ... NIBBLE ON THE GO ... Time Out - Mercado da Ribeira- Located in Cais de Sodre yo Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: 50667/ALMore
