The apartment has 45 m2 and consists of a lounge / bedroom with balcony overlooking the Douro River, with double bed and extra bed if necessary. It also has another room / kitchen with balcony over Rua da Fonte Taurina, one of the oldest streets in the city of Porto. The kitchen is equipped with electric plate, refrigerator, microwave with electric oven, espresso machine, etc.. Bathroom with shower.

Passionate Peace in Porto
Porto...the most special city in all Portugal! This flat is priceless. There is nothing comparable to it. The place on the River is unique and divine. You can catch sunrise and sunsets basking in the twilight. You can capture the aromas of the city and flittering sounds as they drift by. With two balconies on the floor you capture two sides of Porto, the River and the flat walkway of residents. Everything is within walking distance. This is a must stay place. It was our favorite in 2 weeks of travel! Luis is a wonderful and exceptional host. His communication and guidance made everything so effortless.

Probably the best Oporto experience you can have
We stayed three nights in Oporto and had a wonderful time wandering through the streets of the old city. The apartment is ideally located at the riverside in the central neighbourhood of Ribeira. From the balcony you have a breath-taking view on the river, the Port wine cellars in Gaia and the iconic iron bridge over the Douro. Sipping a glass of Port wine while enjoying the astonishing view was certainly the most staggering experience we had during our stay. Given the choice of excellent restaurants nearby, we didn’t really use the kitchen, except for breakfast. However, we very much appreciated that the apartment featured all we might need during our stay. Luis and his son are delightful and very helpful hosts.

Scenic, authentic apartment by the river.
The place is in a great location by the river. Luis is a very kind and communicative host. He even picked us up at the train station and gave us a quick tour of Porto. I definitely recommend this place if you look for a scenic, authentic stay.

Fantastic location, stunning view.
In the heart of Ribeira with all places of interest within walking distance. Just as importantly is the fact that all of the Port Cellars are directly opposite the apartment on the far river bank!!
A compact third floor apartment at the top of an original 18th century house right on the river. Therefore no lift so you need to be able to walk up three flights of stairs.
Luis is more than the perfect host with great communications from the point of booking up to our departure when he offered to drive us back to the airport at 4am!!!
Perfect spot for a city break with quality restaurants on the doorstep.
