BEDROOMS
Bedrooms have built in wardrobes, air-conditioning unit (cool/heat), large mirror, safe, small TV Unit with Greek channels, as well as the foreign satellite channel chosen at the saloon area.
LIVING AREA
The living area consists of a spacious open plan living room. The dining room has a dining table and chairs. The sitting room features a triple and double sofa. LCD TV in sitting area offering Greek channels and hot bird satellite connection for the foreign channels. The living room offers an air-conditioning unit (cool/heat).
KITCHEN
The holiday house offers a fully equipped kitchen with oven, ceramic cooking plate, hob/extractor fan, large fridge with freezer, dish washer, micro wave oven, water cooker, coffee machine, as well as all necessary kitchen utensils.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
Washing machine, steam iron, ironing board and drying rack.

I welcome my guests personally at arrival. I then give you a tour of the holiday home. I also inform you about the region, excursions you can undertake and try to help you with any other request you should have during your stay. I visit the villas for cleaning and maintenance on a nearly daily basis and as I live close by you can reach me also at any time by phone for assistance.

This was a very well equipped and spacious villa. The owner was attentive and helpful and keen for us to make the most of our stay, and advised on the local area, best places to shop and eat etc.

This villa is beautiful and very well equipped, there are plenty of cups and plates for larger group. Also dish washer and laundry washer were great. Two bathrooms made life easy.The owner of the villa is very friendly and helpful. Villa felt like home, there was only one problem with it - it was perfect! We will certainly rent it again.

Rethymnon with it's pretty, often vibrant Venetian port and old town is approx 12km away; offering bus services to Heraklion / Knossos, Chania, Samaria gorge, all roughly an hour away. Lake Kourna is about 20 minutes away and is well worth a visit. Arkadi monastery, well known for it's history is a short drive away

Getting around

There is a free parking spot in front of the villa. The bus stop is located at 180 meters walking distance. In order to reach the beach at 'Platanes' village or to reach the town centre of Rethymno, you can take the bus lines serving the villages 'Arkadi - Loutra - Mesi - Kirianna*. These buses operate from the morning, early hours, up to about 21:00 hours. The service times changes depending of the seasons.
Rent a car with pick-up and drop-off at the airport for the duration of your stay. Except of the high seasons months, renting a car is not more expensive than using public buses and/or taxi to reach the villa at arrival/departure and for your entire stay you will be mobile and you can discover the hidden spots of Crete.

By plane you can reach the island with low cost carriers from various European locations. You can also use a connecting flight with a stop in Athens or Thessaloniki, with frequent daily domestic flights serviced by Olympic air, Aegean air and Cyprus air. By car you can take a ferry from Piraeus harbour in Athens with destination Chania or Heraklion harbour.
