The open plan first floor is accessed through the main entrance and there you will find a living room with an open fireplace, cosy sitting area with large sofas and a dining table. Through its large glass doors, the room offers lovely sea views and direct access to the garden and pool, after descending a few stairs. A 40’’ HDTV, a Playstation 4, a Nintendo Wii and board games are also available in the living room. Next to the dining area, a fully equipped kitchen makes sure that you have all that is needed to prepare your homemade meals. The living room opens up to a large veranda, equipped with patio furnishing, providing additional siting areas overlooking the sea and the pool, an ideal place to watch the sunset and relax. 
 The first floor features two bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with a King size bed (1,80 x 2,00), Air conditioning, Closet, Safe and Direct access to a shared balcony Bedroom 2: Twin size beds (0,90 x 2,00) that may be converted into a Queen size bed (1,80 x 2,00) upon request, Air conditioning, Closet, and Direct access to a shared balcony Finally there is a family bathroom with a bathtub, a WC and a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer on this level. Ground Level A second kitchen and a family bathroom with a bathtub can be found on this floor, providing independence and privacy to large groups when required. The remaining three bedrooms of the Villa can be found on this level Bedroom 3: King size bed (1,60 x 2,00), Air conditioning, Closet, TV with an ensuite bathroom with shower Bedroom 4: King size bed (1,60 x 2,00), Air conditioning, TV Bedroom 5: Twin size beds (0,90 x 2,00) that may be converted into a Queen size bed (1,80 x 2,00) upon request, Air conditioning, Closet, Ensuite bathroom with shower. Furthermore, Last but not least, the ground floor boasts an indoor,15 sq. m. swimming pool (minimum - maximum depth: 0.6 m - 1 m), which also functions as a Jacuzzi and can be heated if required with an extra charge. Perfect Villa
This is the perfect villa for a Crete stay. Ideal for families, large pool and plenty of well looked after activities to entertain the kids. Gorgeous sunset views and very well equipped kitchen for cooking (including bbq). Great location for beaches (Bali is great!), shops and restaurants (not far from Rethymno - which is fab too). Villa owner very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable with great advice for what to do/ where to go. Provided us with great local produce for our stay - check out his shop in Rethymno too - Moka - (wish he'd open one in the UK!)

Fabulous Villa with Amazing Views
We have just returned from an amazing family holiday celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary and the villa made it very special by meeting the needs of three generations aged 10-72. Words and photographs really cannot do the Villa justice. The views of the sea, mountains and surrounding area from the Villa are spectacular, particularly at sunset and sunrise. The villa is very private so would recommend a hiring a car to explore the island, however you can easily spend the whole holiday enjoying the luxuries of the Villa. We particularly enjoyed the privacy of a huge pool and outdoor living area. The owner Markos met us on arrival and was available to assist with any issues throughout the stay and provided a very thorough cleaning service every few days. We were impressed with the welcome hamper and little treats that were left for us. Thank to Markos for making the such a memorisable holiday. Communication with Kostas and the team at Etouri was impressive from initial booking and postponement of booking in 2021 due to COVID restrictions through to the concierge service of assisting with transfers, car hire arrangements, recommendations and booking of restaurants. Nothing was to much trouble and responses to emails were very prompt.

Fabulous.
From incredible sunset view. Incredible villa. Plenty of quality activities for children. First class pool. Attentive and superb owner. Leaving gifts and showing genuine interest in my family. The property was stunning Brilliant location sited in a wilderness of olive trees . The yelps of delight from the children in our party on seeing the pool on arrival lead to a VERY late night. I can't recommend this experience highly enough. The only disappointment for me was not visiting the shop run by the owner and his mother.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage
Unsere Familie hat in diesem traumhaften Haus drei Wochen einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Der Urlaub war, dank des Ferienhauses mit seiner großen Pool- und Gartenlandschaft, perfekt. Hier hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön sowie hochwertig eingerichtet und in einem sauberen und gepflegten Zustand. Die nähere Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und von Olivenbäumen umgeben, was wir sehr genossen haben. Hier konnten wir uns wunderbar erholen. Zu den Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fährt man mit dem PKW keine fünf Minuten. Durch Markos wurden wir vor Ort sehr nett empfangen und über den gesamten Zeitraum gut betreut und verwöhnt. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Wir würden jederzeit dieses Ferienhaus erneut buchen und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Hier ist erholsamer Urlaub garantiert.

An amazing villa on a picturesque island
We have just returned from the most amazing holiday, staying at Villa Daphne. We were greeted by the owner, Markus who was very attentive and welcomed us with a lovely hamper. The villa was clean, very spacious and the pool area was amazing. The beds were comfy and we really couldn't have asked for more. The concierge service, Etouri was also great, they helped booking taxi's and restaurants for us with no fuss. You definitely need a car to stay here but Rethymno isn't far and you're only a few minutes drive from the beach. Overall we had an amazing time here and would love to go back!

Very impressed
What a wonderful holiday we have just had! We were 2 families with 2 babies and 2 3 year olds, the villa was perfect for us. Markos the owner was so friendly and helpful. The management company etouri were very impressive, they recommended restaurants, booked us in places and were really responsive. Rethymno and the surrounding area is a great place for families. Not one bad meal! All the food was excellent, we treated ourselves to a private chef in the villa which we highly recommend. We will be coming back 😊

Magnificent Villa, with Spectacular Views of the Sea and the Sunset
Villa Daphne is a Magnificent large 5 bed villa, surrounded by acres of olive trees, very private, but within 5 / 20 minutes of lovely beaches and the Old Town of Rethymno. The owner, Markos looked after us so well, making sure the villa was cleaned and the bed linen and towels were changed every 3 days. Nothing was too much trouble. Markos was so kind and attentive, he even brought us delicious Cretan cakes and pastries every time. The Villa is so well positioned, the view of the Bay of Rethymno, with the blue sea and surrounding mountains was Wonderful. Not withstanding all the Magnificent Aspects of Villa Daphne, the Sunsets are Absolutely Spectacular. Highly Recommended, we would Definitely go back again.

Perfect Villa, close to all amenities
We are a family 2 adults and 3 teenageres. We stayed at villa dafne for two weeks in July 2018 and have booked to go back again in July 2019. The villa was spacious and clean. Fabulous location as you are close to shops, bars and restsurants. Would definately recommend. The owner was lovely.

Villa Daphne ... The best
We stayed in Villa Daphne in September 2018 with 9 persons (5 adults and 4 children). Villa Daphne is a big two-floor mansion with a huge living and dining-room. Each family had a separate area so it was no problem to spend some time on your own. The cleaning-team came every 3rd day and cleaned as well the house as the pool. We have stayed in various mansions already but Villa Daphne was better than any other one. Very clean, fantastic service. Simply gorgeous! The owner of the mansion. Markos, welcomed us in the house although it was already very late in the evening. On our request he even bought food and drinks for the first evening and breakfast for the next morning. Markos answers every occurring question and assists you wherever he can. He´s lovely and makes your holiday perfect. Markos runs a deli store in the historic center. We highly recommend a trip to the shop. We want to thank Markos for his heartiness and perfection! Kostas organized rental cars upon our request even equipped with extra seats for the children. We left the airport more smoothly and quickly than ever. It was a perfect holiday thanks to the owner Marcos and Kostas. We will come back and highly recommend it to you! Top organization, top mansion, top holiday! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Fam. Uszkureit Im September waren wir für 9 Tage in der Villa Daphne. Wir waren 9 Peronen (5 erwachsene und 4 Kinder). Die Villa bietet sehr viel Raum auf zwei Etagen mit einem großen Wohn- und Essbereich. Es war super, dass jede Familie seinen eigenen Bereich hatte und man sich jederzeit zurückziehen konnte. Alle 3 Tage kam ein Reinigungsteam, die das Hause inkl. Pool komplett gereinigt haben. Wir haben schon einiges gesehen, aber Villa Daphne toppt alles. Sehr sauber, super Service. Der Hauseigentümer war am Anreisetag noch spät abends im Haus und hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Auf Wunsch hat er für uns eingekauft und der erste Abend und Morgen war mit Lebensmitteln versorgt. Markos nimmt sich jeder Frage an und ist immer da, wenn man ihn braucht. Er ist wirklich sehr herzlich und macht seinen Gästen den Urlaub bis ins Detail perfekt. Markos betreibt in der Altstadt eine Feinkosthandlung. Ein Ausflug dorthin ist auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert. Auf diesem Wege möchten wir Markos für seine Herzlichkeit und Perfektion vielmals danken! Costas hat uns auf Wunsch Mietwagen organisiert. Noch nie zuvor sind wir vom Flughafen so reibungslos und schnell weggekommen. Im ganzen war es ein perfekter Urlaub dank Markos dem Eigentümer und Costas. Fabulous Villa
We spent two weeks at Villa Daphne and had a fantastic time. Markos the owner was very helpful and provided grocery products for when we arrived. The villa was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean, with additional maid service on Tuesdays and Fridays. He children loved the pool, which was at 28-30c and the outdoor area, particularly the fitness equipment, table football and air hockey. The villa was very private and had beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The sunsets were magnificent
