A brand new, airy apartment in a very quiet area of the historic village of Xaghra in Gozo. The apartment forms part of an exclusive block at the end of the development zone. No expense has been spared in making this apartment the perfect holiday rental. The apartment has a very spacious and naturally lit open plan kitchen, dining and living area that lead to a spacious corner balcony with valley views. The master bedroom is spacious yet cosy and leads to the front balcony as well. The 2nd bedroom, has 2 single beds that can be joined to form a large king sized bed. From this room one can see nice valley views as well. The bathroom is equipped with all amenities especially a large soaking bath. The apartment is fully air-conditioned. About the neighbourhood
This apartment is within walking distance from a number of restaurant on Xaghra square. It is also very close to the best sandy beaches on the island. Xaghra is also known for the Neolithic temples of Ggantija, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Getting around
If you are not renting a car and plan to use public transport, buses are the best option. There are 2 routes that go through Xaghra - Route 307 between Victoria (center of Gozo) and Xaghra or Route 322 that goes from Mgarr (the harbour for the ferry between Malta and Gozo) to Xaghra and then to Marsalforn (a popular summer seaside village, once a fishing village, where one finds a very good selection of bars and restaurants). There are 2 bus stops for route 307 (Warda or Lukin) that are both only 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. The closest bus stop for Route 322 is Xaghra which is in the town center, close to the church, about 20 mins walking distance from the apartment.
