Attractive large barn in a quiet location. Kitchen has more equipment than you could possibly need and the games room has everything to keep the family happy if the weather turns bad. Absolutely nothing could prepare us for the charm, space and peace this hidden treasure of a converted barn offered. Just walking into its large two storey open living room leading up to a gallery with double bedroom, bathroom and (boys) chilling area was a delight. Rouillac is known as the gateway to the Cognac area .It is surrounded by gently rolling countryside which is ideal for rambling and off-road cycling, There are several lakes with beaches and plenty of fishing and kayaking sites whilst horse riding can also be arranged. The historic towns of Angouleme and Cognac are well worthy of exploration. The Comic Strip Museum at Angouleme is particularly popular with visitors.
