This one bedroom fully equipped Air Conditioned apartment for the over 50's is situated right on the beach offering fantastic views of the Mediterranean. It has everything for a tranquil and comfortable stay while you enjoy all that Gibraltar has to offer. Sleeps 4. <BR><BR>This apartment is in a retirement complex, all guests must be aged 50 or over and therefore, is NOT suitable for children. Guests may be requested to show their passports in reception. The booker must be with the party, absolutely no sub-letting allowed.<BR><BR>The apartment is on a lower ground floor but can be accessed via a lift. The best
This apartment was clean very comfortable and extremely well equipped.
The write up states "it is home from home" and that is exactly what it is.
We had a welcome pack of all the basics and a bottle of wine which was much appreciated.
Would recommend to everyone.
We hope to stay again soon

Great stay
My daughter and I had a wonderful few days stay in this apartment. It was definitely home from home with everything we could wish for, very comfortable indeed and also the views from the balcony were amazing Our first visit to Gibraltar and are looking forward to a return visit as soon as we can.

Perfect
This was a perfect apartment for two people. The welcome pack was excellent gave us plenty of time to get other provisions for the rest of the week! The new beach was excellent & private and the views were great. A perfect holiday resting place with easy reach of everything. Will defo return . A1

Wonderful apartment at Gibraltar's Sandy Bay
I spent eleven nice days in Gloria's wonderful apartment. Everything well equipped and selected with great taste. Especially for me as a person who has sometimes problems with breathing, it was amazing to stay in an absolutely dustfree environment, I enjoyed it a lot. Gloria's apartment is really marvellous!

Best holiday rental we have ever had...Perfect!
My wife is disabled but this Apartment was perfect for her, only one flight of stairs to the lovely sandy beach, lift from the reception area straight to the level balcony, so it was easy for her to come and go, the bus stops right outside the reception door! Catalan bay is a short distance away, and the bus drops you off there, but stops at 9.00 so we walked back. There are some great bars and seafood restaurants there, I recommend the Seawave! You can walk through the road tunnel to Europa point if you are feeling energetic, (I did) and the bus takes you straight to the bus station outside Casemates Square in the centre for shopping, or the number 8 also goes to Morrison's! We got a Senior (over 60) hoppa which is £1.20 and you can ride any bus all day with it! The balcony is so peaceful listening to the waves it's paradise.!

excellent. described exactly as it said.
appartment just as advertised. very clean views amazing beach excellent. Gloria the owner was very easy to deal with.. responded to our e mails as soon as possible.although we didnt meet she couldnt have been more helpfull and friendly.we were divertet to Malaga but Jill met us showed us around left us a welcome pack of food and drink which was very much appreciated. .even though it was her birthday nothing was too much trouble. hope you had a lovely night out.thank you all for everything. hopefully see you again soon. wonderful apartment with fantastic views
Ideal location right on the beach.Everything you could possibly want in a self catering apartment and more.Local buses stopping right outside the complex was a massive bonus and the fares for pensioners are so cheap too,an all day hopper ticket was only £1.20 per person. Had a marvellous holiday here really loved everything. Hope to return sometime soon.

3 weeks in paradise
We had spent a week here the previous year, but we were keen for a longer stay, so in June we booked for 3 weeks with Gloria and it was every bit as good as we remembered in fact it was better because there is now a bar/restaurant in Sandy Bay, which serves very reasonable food (I understand it intends to close for the winter at the end of September), but this was a great bonus if you didn't want to go to Catalan Bay, or into the town centre. The beach was as pristine as ever, although a bit busier than the previous year, I guess its a little better known now and the bar helps too. This can cause congestion on the buses but nothing to worry about. We went to the Trafalgar cemetery, the Gibraltar Museum, and both the Great Siege Tunnels and the WW11 tunnels, and can recommend all three. We hope to return next year for another 3 weeks in paradise!

The perfect retreat for the more mature holidaymaker
This is an immaculate flat in a secure complex. It is located on Sandy Bay which has a lovely beach.
There is a bus stop right outside the complex entrance In ten minutes you are in the Casemates Square,the busy heart of Gibraltar. Buy an all day Senior Hoppa ticket for £1.20 and you can ride unlimited on most buses.
We are coming to the end of our week here. Wish we had booked a fortnight!

About the neighbourhood
Sandy Bay is just as it sounds, a beautiful sandy beach with fabulous views of the Mediterranean, Spain and in the distance North Africa. The waters are safe for swimming and you can fish from the breakwaters. Just 10 minutes walk down the coast road is the prestigious Caleta Hotel where the Catalan Lounge & Terrace offers snacks and drinks throughout the day as well as a delicious English afternoon tea from 3pm to 6pm complete with scrumptious, home-made scones, cakes, pastries and an assortment of perfectly created sandwiches. Add a glass of champagne for true afternoon decadence and take in the stunning sea views from the terrace. In the evening, the Catalan Lounge & Terrace is transformed into a cocktail lounge where you may enjoy a glass or two of your favourite drink whilst looking out at the sparkling night sky or enjoy a delicious dinner in Nunos the hotels' own Italian Restaurant. There is also a Spa centre in the hotel offering treatments etc to non residents so why not pamper yourself. The hotel is in Catalan Bay where you can enjoy the delicious foods in the restaurants, or enjoy the beach. There is also a mini-market where you can pick up some groceries.<BR><BR>The bus service which stops right outside the complex will take you into town in just 10 minutes. There is a further stop just halfway between Both Worlds and the Caleta Hotel where you can catch a bus to other parts of Gibraltar.
