Really nice and quiet place!
The Seashell Studios are really great to stay, especially if you like privacy and tranquility. It is far from a main road so no traffic noise. The only sound comes from the birds in the trees and the 4 turtles living in the garden (I guess it was mating season?)
The terrace with the pool is really nice (would be even nicer if there were some lounge chairs or that hammock that was in the pictures). The pool itself is small, but very good to cool off. And the water is cleaned continuously.
The studio itself is also very clean, thanks to housekeeper Sunita who takes really good care of everything. The studio is small but has everything you need: a double bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a kitchenette with a water boiler, a fridge, a microwave and an electric frying pan.
I saw some previous reviews on TripAdvisor with people complaining they had no hot water. Apparently that problem has been solved as I had hot water whenever I wanted.

Propre, entretenu, disponible, au milieu de 2 villes dans quartier résidentiel
Nous sommes arrivés pleine nuit et nous nous demandions ou nous étions. EN 2 jours nous avons pu apprecié l'emplacement de cet appartement à 2kms de Grand Baie et à 1,2 kms de Pereybere. Le lendemain matin, après un affolement général pour des questions d'eau chaude, TRES vite résolues par la propriétaire (à distance) et le personnel sur place - La chambre beneficie d'un grand lit, mais coté cuisine, c'est petit dej point (four micro ondes et un frigo + cafetiere/theiere) - Contrario vous mangez pour 15/20 euros pour 2 à Pereybere.....Puis ce fut 19 jours de plaisir car le service est impeccable, les gens gentils et les locaux avec piscine (petite piscine mais qu'est ce que c'est bon !) très agréable. Oui nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci

Equipement simple mais accueil sympa
L'équipement du studio est très simple (frigo, micro onde, bouilloire, ventilateur, eau souvent froide) mais l'extérieur est très agréable avec une piscine, plusieurs terrasses et des tortues !
L'hôte Sunita est très sympathique et nous a même accompagné au dispensaire après un accident en nous offrant plusieurs fois du thé et du riz.
Sur le livre d'or nous avons vu qu'il y a beaucoup d'habitués qui reviennent régulièrement depuis 2002 principalement séduits par l'accueil.

Bel endroit pour se reposer
Bel endroit, très joli cour avec deux jolies tortues et belle piscine. endroit proche de la plage et des magasins. Sunita est vraiment très gentille et très serviable.
par contre les chambres ont besoin d’être rafraichie un petit peu et le système d'eau chaude est un peu compliqué, le fait de devoir aller dehors pour allumer la pompe avant et éteindre après la douche.
mais franchement bon séjour a un très bon prix.
on reviendra bientôt
