Why not take the family to Chatsworth House?  Drive there in 20 mins, enjoy the gardens and maze too
Wherever you go in the Peak District there is stunning scenery and walks
Visit market towns like Bakewell with river walks, tea shops, Bakewell pudding, independent shops

There isnt much more I can say that hasn't already been said. We had a lovely time. The House was so full of character, well equipped and very comfortable. The downstairs area is very spacious with a very large lounge with a lovely vaulted ceiling. There is surround sound TV (with DVD, Sky TV channels with Sky Sports, BT sports and Films all in HD available as part of the package) in the lounge, a log burning stove (free supply of logs and kindling), plenty of seating for up to 12 guests, extra large double sofa bed, books, guides and maps. Now with underfloor heating in the kitchen and dining room. The downstairs double bedroom adjoins the lounge and has a TV and DVD/video system and additional seating. Additional Rate and Availability Information
Payment by cheque or bank transfer. Pets are charged at £15 each extra. All heating, logs, bed linen and towels included in the rates.

We offer short breaks in all seasons except the Peak, Xmas and New Year Season, where bookings are for one week only. Our weekly changeover days are Saturdays in the Peak Season. Short breaks can be 2 nights or more starting any day.

We will consider mid-week rentals at a discounted rate please contact us wendyboast@visitpeaks.co.uk

We also require a £150 breakages deposit prior to arrival. This will be returned once the house has been checked and providing that there are no major problems will be returned within one week after your departure.

Please note that the prices shown above are weekly and in the case of the nightly rate that is the rate for a one night stay as stipulated by Holiday Lettings. Our minimum stay is two nights at weekends or one week in the Peak Season.
