Welcome to Etoile de Mer: a 4 bedroom free standing oceanfront/beachfront villa in the gated Shore Pointe development in Cupecoy, Sint Maarten. The Shore Pointe villas are located directly adjacent to the Terres Basses area of the French side of Saint-Martin – in fact the neighbouring property to the north is the famed La Samanna Hotel and villas. Spend your days relaxing in the villa’s private pool listening to the soothing sound of waves lapping at the shore. When the sun gets a little hot you can retreat just a few feet to the covered outdoor living space furnished with a comfy couch area, chaises lounges, and an outdoor dining table. Etoile de Mer is fully air-conditioned throughout (living room/kitchen/dining area and all bedrooms) but we recommend taking advantage of the full indoor/outdoor flow of the villa with the cool trade winds acting as your A/C throughout the day. Large sliding glass doors pocket to either side opening the living area up to the outside and exposing those incredible views. The lower level of the villa is a large open concept featuring a comfortable living room, dining area, office nook (no computer, WIFI available), and a modern style kitchen with a large island perfect for breakfast, putting out snacks, or preparing a big meal for you and your guests (or ask your concierge about private chef services available in all our villas). There’s plenty of space for everyone to spend quality time together or to branch off and do your own thing. One of the four large bedrooms at Etoile de Mer is located on the main level while the other three bedrooms (including the Master) are on the upper floor. All four bedrooms have king beds, a private balcony, sea views, TVs with Dish Network, and large modern ensuite bathrooms. The location of Etoile de Mer and the Shore Pointe development couldn’t be better. Right in front of the villa is renowned Cupecoy Beach which, depending on the season and the tide, can be accessed either down a few steps in front of the villa or just a short walk to the south. Also, just a 3 minute walk across the street and you’re in Porto Cupecoy where you’ll find a great grocery store and a few good restaurants around the main plaza area. The Blue Mall is a one minute drive, the Atlantis Casino is a 3 minute drive, and the main street in Maho with lots of great restaurants, clubs, and the casino is just an 8 minute drive away. In the other direction, Etoile de Mer is a 3 to 5 minute drive from 3 terrific beaches in the Terres Basses (Long Bay, Plum Bay, and Baie Rouge). Note that there are 3 steps up from the street to the front door of Etoile de Mer followed by approximately 8 short steps down to the main floor of the villa once you’re inside (there is a side entrance which has only two or three small steps that a guest could use as an entry should the steps be a problem). Etoile de Mer can be rented as a 2-3 or 4 bedroom villa This property is equipped with the CO2 free electric mosquito trap! WEEKLY rates below are for 1 or 2 PERSONS PER BEDROOM before tax and service fees. 7 night minimum is required if reservation is made more than 12 months from guest arrival date. 5 night minimum is allowed during travel periods noted below - *IF reservation is made LESS than 12 months from arrival date.
