'Garden View' is a delightful, well maintained and cared for spacious apartment with a definite sense of being close to the sea.
There is a very large lounge with varied seating for at least seven people and a dining table that seats 4 but can extend to seat 6. You have direct access to the private garden from here. The main bedroom has a lovely and comfortable Super King-size Bed and a Futon that acts as an armchair but can pull out into a single bed for perhaps a third child. This room also has direct access to the private garden. The kitchen has a large window to the front and plenty of cupboards and worktops, a new oven and fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and washing machine. I will be there to manage the housekeeping (cleaning and laundry) as well as putting in the 'welcome pack' (tea, milk, flowers and a cake). You will arrive and use the 'key safe' to enter the property. The key code will be sent to you after full payment. There is an extensive 'Information book' in the property with all you will need to know, although I will be available on the phone for any further questions. Equally I am happy to advise you prior to your stay.

About the neighbourhood
Lower Meads in Eastbourne is walking distance from shops behind the Grand Hotel which include a chemist, delicatessan and wonderful vegetarian restaurant called The Green Almond.
The Meads has a Tesco Express and a COOK! As well as a lovely delicatessen, chemist, off licence, Co-op, Florist and cafe's.
Two very good pubs. The Pilot is my favourite - but The Ship has a lovely big beer garden.
The foot of The Downs is an easy walk along the coast where you will discover some beautiful views.
The pier is easy to walk to and 'town' too.
'Garden View' is literally round the corner from the theatres and Towner gallery and Devonshire Tennis Club.
Getting around
Eastbourne Railway Station is a big station that can take you to Brighton and Lewes, to London, or to Bexhill and Hastings.
Several buses are available in Eastbourne.
Car not needed
How to get there
Garden View is in an area called 'Lower Meads' directly behind the Grand Hotel.
To avoid the seafront when you arrive, I would probably advise that you come via 'Old Town' and then into the Meads area.
Gatwick is the closest airport.
Eastbourne has a Railway station.
Parking is easy on Silverdale Road - I have never had trouble parking there.
