The Belfry is well appointed, well situated, scrupulously clean and a credit to it's owners. All amenities are there to ensure a comfortable stay and it's warm and cozy. Hopefully we will return again.

We’ve stayed a few times as well as at the steeple (next door) and it has been consistently good. It’s a short walk to the beach and shops as well as having parking outside (a parking permit is left inside for guests). It’s also furnished...More

About the neighbourhood
The Steeple is situated in Weaponness, one of Scarborough's most desirable areas. It is ideally located for all of Scarborough's key attractions, with the Esplanade, beach and town centre easily accessed just a short walk away. It is within walking distance of the many shops, cafes and bars in Falsgrave and Ramshill - and a convenience shop and two real ale pubs are just two minutes' walk away. Just a short drive will take you to the North Yorkshire National Park, including Dalby forest - a great place to visit for outdoor enthusiasts, with the famous Go Ape assault course that the kids will love. Nearby in Pickering you can board the North Yorkshire Moors steam train that will take you on a trip to remember through the glorious Esk Valley to Goathland and Whitby.
Getting around
You can drive or get the train to the Belfry which is only a short walk. The number 4 bus runs from Scarborough Town Centre to a stop opposite The Belfry. The service runs approximately every 30minutes between 9:20 and 2pm daily M-F.
