Minimum stay out of season is 3 days, we restrict main season to weekly bookings Friday to Friday the calculation for less than 7 days calculated by their system is wrong as it just divides by 7, we use 60% 3 days, 75% 4 days, 85% 5 days and 90% 6 days of weekly rate. We give a 10% reduction for second weeks and new to 2016 - 10% discount single occupancy. We can also book discounted ferry fares with both car ferry companies.
Daily rates reflect 3 day booking divided by 3, so longer stays have a cheaper daily rate, just message us for price deal please.

About the neighbourhood
Situated on the outskirts of a quiet picturesque rural village in the South West with many thatched houses and repeat winner of best village on the Isle of Wight. Close to coast and good beaches, at the foot of the downs and forests with great walks that cross the island and on the round island cycle route. The village has a good pub/restaurant and there is also a bistro/tea rooms, quality food shopping and other shops. We also have good fossil hunting on the coast, wind surfing, kite surfing and uncrowded beaches
Getting around
There is a bus service at the bottom of the road that goes between Newport and freshwater (Number 12 - Southern Vectis). There is also a community bus service (FYTbus Route D) which passes our property and can be hailed.

How to get there
From Brighstone village, our road (Moortown Lane) is about 400 metres west of the middle of the village and runs between Brighstone and Calbourne. We are about 300yds up from the main road through the village, our drive is next to the only thatch in the road and is on the left about 100metres up from the post box (fixed to a telephone pole) which is on the right hand side of the road, just past us the road bears to the right and just beyond that is Upper lane on the right so you know you have gone to far! The main drive is only about 20 metres long and next to the only thatch property in the road. Carriers Stable is to the right off the turning point going back towards the road with it's own parking on gravel drive.
