A fantastic retreat, relaxing place that gives you space to breath and beautiful cottage. Perfect. Stronchullin cottages are fabulous. Stunning views in grounds where we watched red squirrels running around, wildlife and sunsets that were amazing. There was more than enough room for 5 of us and it was a perfect place to come back to with a log fire and starry skies. The kitchen was well stocked and, oh my, we were left an amazing welcome pack that included home made meringues (scrumpy) and fresh produce (thank you so much). The family were lovely and friendly but left us to it. There were stunning walks, gardens, Lochs and historical churches and castles within reach and great little local butcher. We felt so relaxed within a few hours of arriving. Thank you.

Idyllic Retreat
What an amazing week we have had at Stronchullin!
Can highly recommend the cottages- absolutely perfect if like us you are looking for peace and tranquility.
Alder Cottage was so very well equipped - had all the kitchen essentials we needed, the vast array of books meant we were able to read books we wouldn't have normally read (we left a couple of books we had read also). Several DVDs and a jigsaw also.
The wifi worked well - fast and reliable.
Thank you for the welcome of freshly laid eggs and shortbread- they were gratefully received.
The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well.
The wood-burning stove was excellent- it was perfect for the cosy afternoons and evenings we enjoyed beside it reading and relaxing.
Lastly, the view was just excellent- the loch was beautiful.
Quad biking provided great fun for husband and 15yr old son. Excellent tuition and views.
Thank you so very much.. Lovely, cosy cottages and a perfect week of relaxation.
