Stravaigin Lodge is a comfortable self catering Scottish log cabin in a park beside the magical Pucks Glen. It's perfect for family and friends, on active or relaxing vacation. With stunning countryside, an abundance of forest tracks, botanical gardens, waterfalls and beaches the area is a wonderful place to take time out.

Prices quoted are for two people, i.e., a couple using the master bedroom. The lodge sleeps 6 and additional costs vary seasonally, anything from £3 per person per night during Low season to £5 per person per night in High season.

We were at an event in Dunoon so didn't spend much time in the Lodge, but it was perfect for our needs and I would definitely return for a proper holiday! A couple of friendly red squirrels made it perfect!

Getting around
Having a car is definitely recommended but not essential. The old A815 runs along the edge of the Argyll Forest and can be used as a cycle path. Also Cycle Route 75 from Glasgow passes quite nearby too. There are many walks in the area and these can al be reached on foot, including Puck's Glen, Glen Massan, Benmore Gardens, Bhen Morr itself and Loch Eck.

For excursions further afield a cra is of great benefit.
