The property was extremely clean and well decorated and very well equipped. The 3 bathrooms were a great asset for us when getting ready for a family wedding. The location was very convenient with plenty of parking yet within easy walking distance of the amenities of Dunkeld.

Management response:

Dunkeld does seem to be a hotspot for weddings with the Cathedral a popular spot for the main event. Delighted you enjoyed your stay and best wishes to the newly weds! Liz and Glen

Stayed for a long weekend in March 2014. House was spacious, very clean, all rooms and kitchen/dining area were much better than expected. facilities, games, videos, books and wi-fi available and made much use of. All round a delightful stay in a lovely property. Would recommend for a countryside stay in a lovely area.

Management response:

Thanks for taking the time to review and for your positive comments! Liz and Glen

Management response:

Thanks for the review and comments. It is a bit of a Tardis like property, especially the double bedrooms upstairs which would put many modern properties to shame! Glen

Getting around
Dunkeld is a lovely wee village and getting around is best on foot as it is all within a couple of minutes walk to the centre of the village. If going further afield then there is a no 23 bus service to Perth, Aberfeldy etc that departs from across the road (timetables available at Perth and Kinross council website). For even further afield then there is Dunkeld and Birnam railway station where you can travel direct to Aviemore, Glasgow, Edinburgh. The station is about a 15 minute walk and it is a truly picturesque piece of Victorian architecture!
