The coach house is fully heated providing cosy accommodation in the winter months. There is a private fenced garden with picnic table (furniture also provided on the balcony). There is parking for two cars and an electric charging point for electric vehicles as well as safe storage for bikes. A peaceful retreat in rural Perthshire with gorgeous views, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy rural Perthshire... Inchtuthill Coach House lies a mile and half down a farm road, close to the village of Spittalfield. Dunkeld lies to the west just 15 mins by car and Blairgowrie to the east, again just 15 mins by car. There are plenty of places to visit whether it be a country house such as Glamis Castle, Scone Palace or Blair Castle, perhaps you prefer something more adventurous, you can try white water rafting, quad biking or perhaps a spot of golf! If walking is more your cup of tea then there are endless walks in Perthshire from a gentle stroll at the Hermitage in Dunkeld, to bagging Munros (a munro is a hill/mountain over 3000ft). There are plenty of gentle walks from the cottage including a lovely riverside walk which is part of the core path network. You can also walk from the property into the village where there is a coffee shop serving delicious cakes and lunch! The Coach House is the perfect retreat after a day exploring this wonderful part of Scotland, there is a log burning stove for the cooler evenings or if weather permits a glass of wine on the balcony watching the sun set over the Tay Valley. If you enjoy wildlife then this is the place for you - daily we see deer (Roe and Fallow), buzzards, hare, rabbit, partridge, pheasant, swans, geese, hedgehogs and plenty more. Loch of the Lowes is a 10 minute drive away and from April until October you can see osprey and red squirrels all year round. Nearby Dunkeld is famous for its beautiful cathedral, well worth a visit. There are plenty of coffee shops, a great deli which also serves tapas in the evenings and a fantastic bakery (Aran Bakery) selling great coffee, sandwiches, cakes galore and wonderful homemade bread! There is plenty more including craft and interior shops, whisky shop, a butcher and chemist. If you have children then you can take them to 'Going Potty' where they can paint their own piece of pottery to take home.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Lovely & peaceful
We had a lovely relaxing week at Inchtuthill, the cottage has everything you need & very comfortable. Owners are very friendly & although stay in house opposite you do not hear them & hardly know they are there. Great for dogs as walking from the door & the garden is secure. Lots of walking, places to visit & ezt nearby.

Fabulous break
Just returned home from a 4 night stay at Inchtuthill Coach House with my husband, mum and son. What a fantastic break away much needed by all. The house is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. The area is so quiet and all you can hear are the birds 😊 lovely views from the balcony with deer grazing in the fields. The log burner was also amazing and so cozy. We look forward to returning hopefully soon. Thank you to the wonderful hosts who were extremely helpful and accommodating 😁

Blissful country retreat with easy access to excellent local services
A wonderful cottage in a stunning location. The last mile of the journey is on a track skirted by farmland with gorgeous views (the track is easily negotiated and we had no problems driving our TT there) The accommodation is very comfortable and spotless - a lot of attention to detail is paid regarding Covid and we had no concerns. The balcony is a lovely spot - weather permitting! And on cooler nights the wood burner is easy to use and so cosy. This wasn’t our first visit and we will definitely return.

Perfect
Inchtuthill coach house is perfect for a relaxing getaway. House is lovely and has everything you could need, great dog walks right on your door step and not too far to get to Perth and Dundee. Victoria the owner is helpful and makes sure the house is ready for you with fresh bread and fresh flowers left for you on your arrival. We will definitely rent the house again as couldn’t ask for more.

Review long overdue of this great hideaway.
The Coach House nestles in the slope of what was once an Iron Age fortress then Roman fortress in a quiet and very attractive bend of the River Tay. The views are stunning and the opportunities for calming walks in the area are a real tonic to the over-stressed city slicker. Great dog-friendly accommodation, comfortable beds, log fire and all home comforts. Great nearby eateries. Most importantly, our hostess Victoria has a heart of gold, making our stay at a time of family loss very therapeutic. We can strongly recommend to anyone requiring an antidote to Brexit.

Idyllic location
Inchtuthill is set in an idyllic location surrounded by stunning views and places to visit. On arrival we were greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread and a variety of welcome treats. Our host Victoria who's expert knowledge of the local area enabled us to taylor our stay to meet all of the families wishes - including quad biking for the boys and amazing places to eat for me! The coach house is extremely cosy and beautifully furnished with every facility we needed, it is cleaned to a high standard, we were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony each morning surrounded by stunning hills and beauty- we felt totally spoiled. We have so much still to see and do and look forward to returning in the Autumn to enjoy some crisp autumnal walks in the Highlands and then return to the luxury of the coach house and enjoy the comfort of the logburner. See you soon and thank you for sharing the hidden gem with us Victoria, you have a beautiful home.

Cosy country haven
The moment you enter this house you feel you are at home. The owner,Victoria is so welcoming and pulls out all the stops to make your holiday there a happy one. The house has a cosy feel especially in winter with the log burning fire. The house is well equipped with lots of nice touches. We were greeted with home made bread. The area the house is located in is beautiful. It is quiet and tranquil. There are lots of lovely places to explore nearby and amazing wildlife on your doorstep such as pheasant, geese and deer. We would rush back and urge you if you are considering this place that you will not be disappointed.

Lovely relaxing weekend - couldn't have asked for a nicer cottage!
Beautiful cottage, immaculate, snuggly with a woodturner - the perfect place to get away! Isolated in a good way but not too far from Dunkeld and Pitlochry - ideal situation. Would definitely recommend.
