A fantastic two bedroomed apartment on the first floor of a Victorian period property situated on a quiet street. It is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Buxton hence close to all the amenities.

The apartment offers a master bedroom with ensuite, a second twin bedroom and a family bathroom. It features a modern, well equipped kitchen and a lovely communal garden. There is a full size cot which can fit in either bedroom and a sofa bed in the large hallway.

There is one off road parking space in the communal garage and further free unrestricted parking spaces can be found on the street directly in front of the property.

Clare's apartment is extremely well located near the town centre, bars and restaurants. It is very comfortable indeed and well appointed. I would be very pleased indeed to stay there again.

Wonderful, spacious and well equipped, we couldn't have chosen a better apartment for our end of Easter term family week away. The location was perfect too, less than 5 minutes walk from the town centre so even when we were tired from a day's walking...More

Given the apartment's proximity to the town centre those wishing to explore Buxton can do so easily on foot. Various high peak buses serve the surrounding peak district towns. In order to explore the whole peak district and various stately homes a car is recommended. Cars can be hired from Enterprise in Fairfield.

The apartment is conveniently located 2 minutes walk from Buxton Station which has a direct line to Manchester Piccadilly. Close to the station is a bus stop for the Manchester Airport bus service (number 199). A pre-booked taxi from Manchester Airport costs around 50 pounds one way.

Those coming by train from London can change at Stockport onto the Buxton line. Alternatively the nearest mainline station is Macclesfield, 12 miles from Buxton, which can be reached by the number 58 which takes the Cat and Fiddle road 'over the top' with some superb views of the peaks.
