This spacious renovated one bedroom barn located in the Peak district has been furnished to a high standard and offers a great base to explore the Goyt Valley and Buxton on foot, cycle or by car. It has a galleried landing over the lounge leading to a good sized bedroom and shower room. Heating is provided throughout, and a log burner (with starter basket of logs) is provided for a truly cosy night in. The cottage is only a few minutes drive from the small town of Whaley Bridge and a stone's throw away from many walks within the Peak District National Park. Fernilee is within walking distance of both Fernilee and Erwood reservoirs and the walks start from the front door. There is also a traditional country pub within a few minutes’ walk offering home cooked food and a warm welcome.

Although there is a busy main rd close by it was no bother for us or Alfie (lab) & we stayed here for a week including that of the first May Bank Hols! It is a beautiful renovated barn & had everything we needed. Plenty big enough for us and the dog! Car parking is situated within the yard and...

We stayed at Toll Barn Cottage for 3 nights in March, and what a little gem it is. Clean, tidy, cosy and equipped to a very good standard, and in a fabulous location. Toll Barn Cottage is in a lovely location for walks and close to Buxton and Whaley Bridge for local amenities. We had lovely stay with our Golden Retriever dog and would return without hesitation.
