The apartment is in central Buxton, and is part of a substantial Edwardian building set on a quiet tree lined road. Visitors are always impressed by the size of the flat and sense of space. We do not increase our rates during school holidays periods. There is a roomy kitchen with dining table and chairs, a large sitting room with TV and DVD player. There is also free WiFi. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with twin beds. Bathroom with full size bath and shower over, WC and hand basin. A utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, iron, drying line for clothes.

It's our second stay at this apartment and it won't be our last. The apartment is lovely & spacious and has everything we need for a comfortable stay. It's ideal for a couple or a family and is very conveniently located for walking to & from the town. Buxton itself is a lovely place to visit with some interesting shops...

This flat was perfect for our short break. Lovely distance from the centre of town and all the amenities needed. We did have a small leak in the kitchen but Jean was brilliant.

Scrupulously clean, well equipped and very well sited for town,opera house etc.(if you don't mind a steep uphill walk) The beds and bedrooms were pleasant and comfortable,but the lounge was sparsely furnished and strangely uninviting. We had everything we needed but it all lacked a homely touch - better lighting might have helped.

About the neighbourhood
Buxton is an historic spa town with many fine buildings, and at St Ann's Well, in the centre of the town, you can drink and collect the spa water free of charge.
The Pavilion Gardens and Opera House are especially worth visiting.
The Opera House (5 minute walk) has year round entertainment, musicals, drama, comedy, contemporary music, with the Buxton Festival and Fringe in July being the highlight.
In August, there is an annual Gilbert and Sullivan opera season, centred at the Opera House.
Corbar Cross (15 minutes) and Solomon's Temple (25 minutes) are both within easy walking distance of the flat and offer great views.
