Silverton Cottage is a character cottage which has recently been fully refurbished to an exceptionally high standard The owner has cleverly extended the cottage to include the brick built Bothy which was originally the laundry room to the property resulting in a perfect marriage of quaintness with a modern feel. A central walled courtyard completes its charm offering private outside space for Al-fresco dining and relaxing. Guests will enjoy being able to reach the Town Centre and marinas within a five minute walk of the property - everything being just a stone's throw away.

Firstly.. the cottage was so nice, very clean, modern with a vintage twist. The location was excellent with the High Street just a short walk away and close to bars, shops and of course Tesco to get your bits and bobs from. We visited many...More

Beautifully presented cottage just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Very cosy with everything provided. Courtyard quite private. Wine, biscuits and milk awaiting you on arrival a nice touch. Would definitely book again.

About the neighbourhood
The historic town of Lymington offers plenty for the visitor to the New Forest. This colourful coastal town is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history.
Situated on the west bank of the Lymington River, on the edge of the Solent, Lymington is a major yachting centre with three marinas. Head on down to Lymington on a Saturday and enjoy the hustle and bustle of a traditional street market along the High Street. The popular market offers everything from local fine foods to craftwork and antiques and has around 100 stalls. Soak up the history of this market which has had a charter from 1250.Make a wander through the pretty cobbled streets of the old town and on to The Quay to watch the luxury yachts and fishing boats come and go.

Ferry: Southampton Ferry Terminal: 30.0 km
From M27 take the Cadnam turn onto sliproad. At the roundabout take 3rd exit onto A337 Lyndhurst Road. Travel 3.4 miles and turn left onto Lyndhurst High Street. Turn right to stay on A35 Gosport Street and keep left. Travel 6.9 miles and at roundabout take 2nd exit. Travel 0.3 miles and turn left onto B3054 Marsh Lane. Travel approx 0.9 miles and turn right into North Close, turn right again staying on North Close and the property will be found at the end on the righthand side on the corner of North Close and East Hill.
