The Nuthatch is beautifully furnished and decorated. With stylish and eclectic dining/living space it has a cosy woodburner and central heating. Light and spacious accommodation for four/six people (two king size bedrooms (one splits into twin beds) and a sitting room with sofa bed suitable for 1 adult or 2 small children) and is situated in a quiet location in Lymington (see map). It has a charming, secluded yet sunny garden, offering somewhere to relax and enjoy the summer months with BBQ, garden table and chairs for eating outside and loungers for sun bathing. Parking space for one car is off street in the private drive right outside the front door; convenient for unpacking when you arrive.

About the neighbourhood
The Nuthatch is an easy 450 metre walk from the town, so if you are really keen and the weather is fine, even a pre-breakfast swim is possible at the open-air sea-water swimming pool! There is also an indoor pool at the Lymington Recreation Centre – a few minutes by car. There is the small supermarket at the local service station Somerfields, a ten minute walk, otherwise Waitrose, Tesco and M&S are all five minutes away by car. Lymington has a good selection of restaurants and pubs, a fabulous Saturday market which takes over the High Street, and it is a pleasant evening stroll into town when you can choose between two routes, either along Marsh Lane which runs behind the Nuthatch (the flat route) to the bottom of the High Street, or along to the middle of the High Street via Lower B... more

By car From M25/M3 southbound via M27 (leaving at junction 1) it takes about one and a half hours

By air Under two hours from Heathrow airport by car. About half an hour from Bournemouth and Southampton airports by car. Bus/ train connections from Heathrow, Gatwick, Bournemouth and Southampton airports. Bus stop is less than 15 minutes from the Nuthatch on foot.

By rail: A fifteen minute walk from the Nuthatch to Lymington Town Station. It is a ten minute train ride to Brockenhurst where you can go direct to London Waterloo or Clapham Junction. Alternatively it takes 15 minutes to Brockenhurst by car or taxi.
