We stayed here with 15 of my family members, excellent kitchen and facilities, even 2 living rooms so kids could escape! Drying room was so handy for the post walk shake down and all the house was clean and super functional. I would highly recommend this house for any group visits to the Sept Valley! Gorgeous house!
Hosts were super communicators and flexible with the arrival of us as we drove up from Preston. Really lovely people.

Wonderful Stay with friends
This beautiful house was a perfect set up for our group of 14 friends. Right from the booking we had great communication from Lucy and very helpful information in preparation for our stay. This is a huge house and with a kitchen that is super well stocked for the big cooking session we had during our weekend and a wonderful dinner room big enough for all of us. The standard of presentation and cleanliness was very high and with most of the rooms having an en-suite, everyone was delighted with their accommodation. Three large lounges means everyone could have there own space when they wanted some down time. The setting is a short walk to the town and at the end of the garden you enter into a amazing woodland walk. I forgot how beautiful the scenery is around this area and plenty to do for those that are want to be active. Lucy and Jay gave us a warm welcome and were on hand if we needed anything. Its rare that you can get a place that has the space for a big group but does not feel crowded... we will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

FABULOUS RETURN VISIT
This was our 2nd return stay at The Pines! Cannot recommend the house and hosts enough.
Lucy and Jay are perfect hosts, quick to answer all our questions and there if we needed anything.
The house itself has everything and more that we needed. From the toy room, books and board games to the super comfy beds and crisp lined and towels. Everything was spotless. We loved the kitchen and cosy area off it, such a socialable space. The garden was great for the kids with plenty to keep them entertained.
Great location to all the area has to offer. Would highly recommended any large group looking to spend time together to book The Pines. We will definitely be back.
Thank you again Lucy and Jay for hosting us, we loved it x

Great place to stay in Grantown -on Spey
Just had a long weekend with family, all 22 of us enjoyed our stay. really clean and every amenity you can think of, they had!
Plenty of room for everyone whether they wanted to all be together or have a bit of time on their own.
The owners are really nice too, close by if you need them, but don't bother you if you don't need them.
Would definitely recommend the Pines house if your looking for a large place to stay in Grantown on Spey.

Wonderful and Comfortable house.
The house is in a great location, near the village, woodland walks and an ideal base for the Cairngorms.
We stayed here as a family of 16 and there is plenty of space for everyone.
The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and includes a commercial dishwasher which is a boon. There is a small snug off the kitchen which is an ideal place to chill and socialise while the cooks are busy.
A great long dining table that we could all sit at and afterwards relax in the lounge which has an open fire and enjoy playing games which are provided. There are two large comfortable lounges.
The bedrooms are clean and the beds and bedding so comfortable that you can have a restful sleep.
There are so many positives to say of The Pines House that I highly recommend it.
Lucy & Jay lovely hosts who made us very welcome.

Fantastic large house, perfect for our family gathering
Fabulous 5* plus property!
Delighted to have found such a gem of a place for a family gathering (16 adults and 3 children) The kitchen is spacious with everything you need to cater for a large group, there's a commercial washer which was a god send! There's a lovely snug/lounge off the kitchen which was a lovely space for chilling whilst the cooks did their thing! There's another 2 large lounges, one with a tv and the other with books/games. The large dining room comfortably seats everyone round an oval table with a games room off it to keep the kids entertained. All bedrooms were clean, comfortable and the added touches of hand wash, shampoo, body wash made it feel like you were staying in a luxury hotel. The large garden has a fabulous climbing frame/slide, trampoline and table tennis. There's a gate at the bottom of the garden which leads out onto woodland paths, perfect for taking our dogs out. The boot room was a great big space too, especially for leaving boots, coats etc if raining. The dogs slept in there and were perfectly happy with their short break too.
We have already booked for next year!!

A fantastic place to stay
With ten bedrooms and three lounges, there is plenty of space. You can easily find somewhere to be on your own if you want some time out. All the rooms are superbly kept. Aspiring chefs will be pleased to know that the kitchen is well equipped. Everyone was envious of its fittings and utensils.
Children will love the garden with its trampoline, outdoor table tennis set, swings and climbing frame. There is a gate at the back that opens into Anagach Woods. It was lovely to go out in the morning with a coffee and sit amidst the pines,
looking for red squirrels. For rainy days, there is a playroom filled with toys that should keep any younger child occupied.
Lucy and Jay were fantastic. A day before we were due to arrive we discovered that all the pillows were stuffed with feathers, a problem for five of us who were allergic. Despite the short notice, Lucy was able to swap out all the problematic pillows for non-allergic ones.
Granton-on-Spey is a fantastic small town, with plenty of character. It is a good base for exploring Speyside, Cairngorms, and Moray.
I would like to thank Lucy and Jay for being such great hosts and making our stay such a special occasion.

Quiet residential street on the edge of a bustling small town. 5 mins from town amenities but the house has a secluded and private aspect, backing onto the beautiful Thousand Acres Anagach Woods.
Grantown on Spey is set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and located within the Cairngorms National Park.
