Welcome to Garden Apartment!
The apartment is set in stunning Grange-over-Sands and located about a 5 minutes walk to central Grange and a 15 minute walk to the station. East Bank Garden Apartment is a one bedroom, self contained apartment, over-looking Morecambe Bay. The flat is located to the lower Ground Floor of a large Victorian semi detached, and has been recently refurbished to a high standard by the owners. The apartment has a contemporary feel. Cozy bedroom with views on the garden.
Internally:
There is a large bedroom with king size bed and plenty of storage. An en-suite is located to the Bedroom and has walk-in shower. There are two comfortable chairs next to the windows. The Kitchenette is provided with a electric hob cooker, belfast sink, and fridge, as well as kettle and ...

Very well looked after accommodation with a lot of attention to detail gone into it, with brilliant location.
I arrived at the accommodation finding it was very easy using the sat nav, Chris was on hand to welcome me and shown me around very professionally. The accommodation was very well kept and very smart designed, information was left for attractions and information about the area which come in very handy for us. The views from the accommodation was amazing, and the accommodation was a two minute walk from the town which had all you need for the holiday. All in all a very very good holiday was pleased in every sense with my stay and will definitely be booking again, would recomend this accommodation to anyone. 5*

Nice place to stay for a weekend away
The flat was recently refurbished, clean and tidy. The bed linen and towels were clean and fresh , which is always very important for me. Hosts were amazing - friendly and welcoming. The flat was a bit on a small side however there was just enough space for three of us (2 adults + 1 teenager). Overall we would definitely recommend East Bank as a holiday rental and would be pleased to stay again.

Overall nice and convieniant location and good standard accomodation
Good accomodation , and location ,
Apartment has everything you need and Ania greeted us with warmth and care .
The lock of the house is not great especialy from inside and is quite loose even when locked
The standard of the finishing in the house is ok and it was quite cold even in June especially the flooring but everything else was great .
The town very quiet and most places closed by 20:00 for younger generation not much to do but we were after quiet rest so it was ideal for us and the view is superb!

Excellent well presented apartment with outstanding hosts
Chris and his wife were excellent during our stay.. incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The attention to detail and finish of the apartment is impressive and offers great value for money! Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Superbly Excellent
Chris & Agniezska were thoroughly welcoming, warm, friendly, generous and professional hosts; they helped make our weekend that extra bit special.
Their holiday flat is beautiful, well furnished and equipped, clean, tidy, modern and yet homely.
The local area is beautiful with stunning views from the bedroom window.
Chris & Agniezska love their local area and it shows. They were able to suggest some great things to do.
Their attention to detail and level of service was above average, they really have gone the extra mile.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay with them and we will definitely be returning.

Small but perfectly formed
We stayed for 2 nights mid week. We had a nice time at the flat, great location and nice views. Comfortable bed and sofa. Basic kitchen equipment which suited us. Chris was there to meet us and to see us off at the end of our stay. All in all a good, tidy basic short break rental

Lovely
Nice cosy little cottage, small garden lovely for bbq, we took our 2 year old with us he was fine with the steps he liked the small garden area. Cooking facilites are good just take your own baking trays, plug for the sink. Really cosy bed, large bedroom with a wet room shower. We would stay again, very friendly owners.

Truly AMAZING
Me and my partner stayed here just over the weekend and I don't think any words would do any justice of how beautiful, clean and homely this little apartment is. The details and the design that has been put into this little cottage is phenomenal and this is only down to the lovely owners (Chris and his wife Agnieszka). They have made this place so welcoming and refreshing which is also a true reflection of who they are. I would recommend this to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Brilliant, lovely couple, lovely appartment
We don't know what to say that can do this justice. It was a lovely clean, well equipped apartment. All the reviews are correct, it is great. Chris and Agnieszka are a very nice pleasant couple, nothing is too much trouble for them. There are absolutely no negatives.
We will definitely by staying again.

Lovely place
Wow hidden gem. Great place, spotlessly clean, everything you need , tastefully decorated. The owners are lovely and accommodating. Would recommend .

About the neighbourhood
There are some great walks including the guided cross the bay walk which requires the attendance of the queens guide, Cedric Robinson MBE, who does organised cross bay walks throughout the summer. Gummers How, located just a 10 minute drive away provides outstanding views across the bay and up to higher central cumbria hill range and was voted in Englands top 100 views by Simon Jenkins in his book 'Englands top 100 views'. Hampsfell is a gentler walk but can be walked from the flat, and has excellent views of the bay area.<BR><BR>The country pubs are amoungst the finest in the country, including Masons Arms at Strawberry Bank. Cartmel has 7 places to drink and dine including 4 gastro pubs, 1 hotel bar and restaurant, and 2 restaurants owned by Simon Rogan. L'onclume was voted the UK's best restaurant in 2013. <BR><BR>Cartmel races are held 3 times a year and are an excellent alternative to the main national race events. The course allows visitors to take cars on to the inner race track area where people can set up a picnic for the day. <BR><BR>At approximately an hour and 20 minutes drive from Manchester, and 1 hour 30 minutes from Liverpool, Grange is a great base for exploring the south lakes area.
Getting around
The train station is 15min walk down the hill from the apartment. The train is on the direct route between Manchester and Barrow. Arnside is 5 min train ride and is well worth a trip to enjoy walks along the village front and there are fabulous views towards the Bay. There is a view point - Arnside Knott with panoramic views towards the lake district.
The bus stop is at the train station and the connection is for routes to Kendal, Windermere.

How to get there
Grange is on the Manchester to Barrow in Furness trainline. There are direct trains available from Manchester. <BR><BR>Drivers will come off the M6 at Junction 36, join the A591, then A590, and the come via Lindale. Grange is approximately 20 minutes from the M6 Junction.
