Welcome to Garden Apartment! The apartment is set in stunning Grange-over-Sands and located about a 5 minutes walk to central Grange and a 15 minute walk to the station. East Bank Garden Apartment is a one bedroom, self contained apartment, over-looking Morecambe Bay. The flat is located to the lower Ground Floor of a large Victorian semi detached, and has been recently refurbished to a high standard by the owners. The apartment has a contemporary feel. Cozy bedroom with views on the garden. Internally: There is a large bedroom with king size bed and plenty of storage. An en-suite is located to the Bedroom and has walk-in shower. Please contact the owner to confirm if the dog would be suitable. Externally: The Garden Apartment is accessed off a small set of steps. We always try to be there for your arrival. However, in the rare occasions we can not be there to meet you we will make arrangements for leaving the key. We are living just next door should you require any help or have any questions and we are happy to provide you with recommendation for good pubs or places to visit. We are always happy to assist, but we would prefer to give you space, so that you can enjoy and relax during your visit.

Friendly, helpful hosts. Well equipped. Super views. Great place to base and explore the surrounding area, which has some superb photo opportunities. We enjoyed our stay and our little dog did too!

Me and my partner stayed here for the weekend. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation itself was lovely and well located as it was a short walk to local amenities. We would highly reccommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing break

About the neighbourhood
There are some great walks including the guided cross the bay walk which requires the attendance of the queens guide, Cedric Robinson MBE, who does organised cross bay walks throughout the summer. Gummers How, located just a 10 minute drive away provides outstanding views across the bay and up to higher central cumbria hill range and was voted in Englands top 100 views by Simon Jenkins in his book 'Englands top 100 views'. Hampsfell is a gentler walk but can be walked from the flat, and has excellent views of the bay area. The country pubs are amoungst the finest in the country, including Masons Arms at Strawberry Bank. Getting around
The train station is 15min walk down the hill from the apartment. The train is on the direct route between Manchester and Barrow. Arnside is 5 min train ride and is well worth a trip to enjoy walks along the village front and there are fabulous views towards the Bay. There is a view point - Arnside Knott with panoramic views towards the lake district. The bus stop is at the train station and the connection is for routes to Kendal, Windermere.
