Inside the Mill & Cottage
The ground floor comprises of an open plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fitted out with all the modern conveniences including washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher & electric cooker and hob and includes a dining area for 8 people. The living room has 3 comfortable leather sofas, log burner with back boiler & 42” television & DVD player. A French door leads onto a patio area. The hallway and stairs to the upper floor are located within the old Mill building. In this area the gearing mechanism for the mill remains intact and is on display as are other tools and items found during the renovation work. Off the hallway there is a twin bed room and bath room/wet area.
The upper floor of the cottage comprises of two spacious bedrooms, one twin and one can be used as twin or double with large king size bed. Both bedrooms have en-suite facilities. There are also two extra guest beds.
The top floor of the mill has been restored and remains mostly in its original condition. On display are the original grinding stones, grain hoppers and old original beams & sack hoist. This area also doubles as a games room with table tennis and some exercise equipment.
Outside
The Corn Mill and Cottage is fully detached and sits on its own 4 acre plot, the owners live nearby. There is a lawn area to the rear of the building where children can play on a slide and swings. The patio area is adjacent to the old water wheel which has been restored and provides an excellent setting for a barbecue..
It is planned to develop the surrounding plot into a traditional farm over the coming season, animals will include goat, donkeys and ponies (children are welcome to help feed the animals).

Thank you Ivan, Lillian and family. We have stayed in many holiday homes/hotels throughout the years and have never in our entire lives seen a more equipped holiday home. Your attention to detail is second to none: the welcome, hospitality (cookies, welcoming fire and fuel provided) the information provided regarding local eateries/activities, the home interior details, games room, the mill itself and exceptional kitchen provisions which any chef would be proud of. Just as we thought there couldn’t possibly be any more, other subtle details revealed themselves and the horse and donkey were a bonus. You truly open your heart, hearth and home to your guests and thus rightly deserve the many accolades attributed to you all. Love and best wishes the McMaster family. (6 adults and 2 children)

Relaxing getaway.
Third time we have stayed at this fabulous house. The hosts are soo helpful and friendly and every thing you need, and more, for an enjoyable stay is available. A really unique house with great space both inside and out, with a games room thrown in. The surrounding area is great for walks with the dogs and they are safe out around the house. Just love this place.

Leginn mill & cottage
This place this absolutely fantastic for quite weekend family time or weekend with the girls. It has everything you need and more with pool table, table tennis board games or if you just want to chill in the sun. Everything in the place is of good quality and decoractioned and finished to high standard. Would recommend here to anyone and will definitely be back.

A special treat
This was our third time staying in this beautiful mill. Always so relaxing, the owners Lilian and Ivan are very friendly and always available. Left us milk, cookies and fresh flowers - what a welcome.
The mill is so interesting with many original features which combine beautifully with plush accommodation.
Plenty of outdoor space for our two dogs and seating areas for us to enjoy the donkeys and horses. The perfect place to unwind and feel spoilt.

What a wonderful stay
Our stay couldn’t have been made anymore special. Lilian and Ivan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cottage has everything and more. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are super spacious and the beds are very comfy and our favourite touch was the log burner. We also loved the games rooms which has a pool table and ping pong. The horses and donkeys are wonderful and the entire scenery of the cottage is fabulous.
Derrylin is a great location and in close proximity to Enniskillen, Marble Arch Caves and lots of attractions in Fermanagh. We also did a day trip to Giants Causeway and another day to Slieve League.
Thank you so much Lilian and Ivan and a special shout out to Lilian’s amazing apple pie. It was delicious!

An absolute gem
What a wonderful gem we found in the heart of Co.Fermanagh when we booked Leginn Cornmill. Perfectly located for all the attractions this gorgeous part of the country has to offer (Marble Arch Caves, Crom Castle, The Share Centre, Lough Erne, Florencecourt House, Enniskillen Castle, Knockninny House, The TullyMill), Leginn Cornmill is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. My husband and our four children had a wonderful week, looked after so well by Lillian and Ivan. The wonderful horses, donkeys and goat were an added bonus each day, the children really enjoyed feeding and befriending them. Idyllic, highly recommended, thank you Lillian and Ivan, see you next year👍

Fabulous
Beautiful, quirky and spacious characterful house that was spotless. Lilian was delightful and so helpful. This place has been equipped with everything that you could possibly need and well positioned for exploring Fermanagh and Cavan. This house is also dog friendly and Bob loved it. The horses, donkeys and Billy the goat were an added bonus and so friendly. I Would recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the fabulous work. Will definitely be booking again.

Wonderful......
Very convenient to local village of Derrylin. We stayed as two couples and my brother joined us a few days also. A beautifully converted cornmill, with all the necessary things for a comfortable stay. Very well equipped kitchen and utility room. Beds are comfortable and sufficient furniture in each room , though a chair might be a useful addition in each Bedroom 😊.
Lots of little local jetty’s where our springer spaniel Indy enjoyed every minute, also liked barking at Billy The goat, who was quite keen on trying to butt her through the fence. The horses and donkeys loved the attention, and we bought extra carrots and apples to keep them happy.
Due to continuing precautions over COVID-19, we choose not to eat out locally but did visit Mr Thai and Boscos and eat in the Mill. Both were excellent.
Would highly recommend this accommodation and would love to return in the future.

Leginn Cornmill Cottage is now indelibly on our mind!! We have just had a weeks holiday in this unbelievable, amazing, breathtaking cottage which has so many extra features beyond preserving the history of the Cornmill. On arrival we were met by Lillian whose warmeth of welcome was but the introduction to the comforts of this cottage which is very difficult to over estimate. We have stayed in some other lovely cottages over the years but Leginn Cornmill is undoubtedly the clear winner. Lillian had copper fastener her welcome by leaving a supply of her home baking and milk. (Gratefully received) later during our stay we met Lilians husband Ivan and daughter Katie whose ponies were in the adjacent field, together with equally well cared for donkeys and a goat of notable age!! The Cottage setting is indelicate.
and cottage ticks all the boxes, thanks to the thoughtful owners.
Summing up!! it would not be stretching the truth to say that the Cottage wanted for nothing, the kitchen has all that a domestic science teacher would require to do a workshop.
We look forward to, and have booked a return visit in 2021.
