Information This is a beautiful bungalow which was modernised in 2019 and has been designed to assist wheelchair users access the property, including a ramp up to the front door, a widened door at the front of the accommodation, in the master bedroom, master ensuite, kitchen and there are bifold doors at the rear of the house also with a ramp. The shower rooms have the advantage of a shower seat and a handrail alongside the toilet. The bungalow is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in Mudeford. LOCAL AREA: This bungalow is located in the historic Mudeford area, which is a harbourside and beach-side parish. A pleasant walk from the property will take you to Avon beach. If you walk along Avon Beach you will find The Noisy Lobster café, shop, ice cream parlour and The Fish and Chip Hut. You will also find Mudeford Quay offering the ever popular family pastime of 'crabbing' from the quayside. The Quay Head is a pedestrian zone and the hub of activity set amongst a cluster of historic buildings thought to date from 1695 including the pub ‘ The Haven House Inn’. Take a five-minute ferry-ride from Mudeford Quay and there is the unique beach huts on Mudeford Spit. In the evening in Mudeford you can enjoy a meal in the Upper Deck Bar & Restaurant with its stunning harbour views. Next door to the Upper Deck is The Jetty, the multiple award-winning restaurant, perched on the water’s edge. Also nearby is Steamer Point which is a 24 acre cliff top designated local nature reserve (LNR) that is situated between Highcliffe Castle and Friar's Cliff on the Christchurch coastline. Highcliffe Castle is situated on the cliffs at Highcliffe. Christchurch Quay, a short drive away, offers access through to the riverside walks, park, café, Boathouse Restaurant, bandstand, children's play area and an exciting water play park and paddling pool which has many interactive features including water jets and sprays, a water play pump and wheel, channels and sluices as well as a paddling area. The Red House Museum is also a key place to visit. Christchurch has a weekly Monday market held in Saxon Square and the High Street (which is 'pedestrianised' for the occasion) and there is a Friday market at Highcliffe. Annually you can enjoy the now well established Christchurch Food Festival.
