Secluded peaceful haven in beautiful surroundings.
We have just returned from Bosvean cottage after spending a long weekend there. We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful and close to Bude, as we were taking part in the Bude at war event.
the cottage was extremely well equipped, very clean and spacious. We'll fitted and kitted out kitchen with milk in the fridge , coffee, tea, biscuits etc.
Very good quality furnishings. Bedroom was lovely, very comfortable bed, light and airy room.
Outside was a small sitting area( not used but ideal for a quiet drink/soak up the country air!
We had the breakfast basket, really was great value and superbly presented and fresh produce. Really appreciated!
Our hosts were fantastic! Friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them!
I've read other reviews and I agree that it felt like home from home and the type of holiday property that you didn't want to leave!
Hidden away from the hustle and bustle and a perfect place to fully relax and recharge.
The night sky is amazing on a clear night, with no light pollution and total darkness you can see much more of the stars and planets!
I would highly recommend the cottage and hope to return ourselves next year.
Bosvean house is a shining example as the perfect way to operate a B&B, and a definite role model for others.

A lovely week
I have just arrived home after spending a week at Bosvean cottage with my wife, our son, his girlfriend and our Cocker spaniel.
The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed and our son and his girlfriend made use of the sofa bed. We did take our own mattress topper for the sofa bed and our son says that he had the best nights sleep ever.
We prefer that bit more privacy over a B&B and we found the cottage to be perfect for us, the hosts never interrupted our privacy but were always on hand for anything we needed or a friendly chat.
The location is close enough to Bude whilst also enjoying total tranquility and we loved watching the sun go down at the end of the day on the communal seating by the summer house. We would love to return and can highly recommend, the free range eggs are a must.

Excellent. Clean, well equipped, very helpful hosts
I stayed at this cosy cottage for 14 nights. I’m very used to staying in rental holiday cottages and I can honestly say that the location, accommodation and hosts were 5*. The property is close to shops, beaches and eateries. I took my dog and they have a small secure garden for those late night sniffs. But also a field just opposite the cottage too. It’s in a very rural spot but still only 5 mins drive to the supermarket. Will definitely visit again!

Short break
We booked the cottage for a short break and we were very satisfied. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Even beach towels were provided. It really was home from home. It was in a excellent location for Bude and the surrounding areas. We had complimentary tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and eggs. All toiletries were included and of good quality. We would definitely come here again.

A perfect getaway.
A quiet location, a 15 - 20 minute walk from pubs and restaurant in the village. A spacious, well equipped cottage. With accommodating friendly hosts, we will definitely book again.
