New House is a large detached grade II listed property. This house is of Georgian origin and retains many original features such as window shutters. It has been beautifully restored and is situat ed in an elevated position giving it fantastic views of the lake district fells and the penines. It also has a view of nearby appleby castle.
It has a wonderfully spacious kitchen area leading onto a patio with a large hot tub with seats and lounher and incorporates a fantastic bluetooth sound system and led lighting.
The house is luxurious with a full sky package and wifi. There is a games table and a 14ft trampoline outside in the gardens which surround the house on all sides.

About the neighbourhood
The ancient town of appleby is well known for the castle that sits at the top of appleby high street. It has a keep and a moat and welcomes visitors all year round. There are several small boutique businesses that service the town. With a meandering river (eden) that runs through the town and around the park appleby is a picturesque place for a wander around. The church houses the oldest organ in Britain and there are many buildings of architectural interest.
New house is also only 1.5 hrs drive from Newcastle and Manchester.
On the fringe of the lake district this property is only 40 mins by car to lake windermere and lake ullswater. Many attractions are nearby (within 1hr) such as Beatrix Potters home.
Getting around
Travel to ullswater/windermere/keswick/grasmere all in under 1hr. It is 20 mins by car to Penrith town and 25 mins to Kendal.
You can also reach Manchester and Newcastle in 1.5 hrs by car.
This house is ideally located for easy access to both the A66/A1 and the M6.
