About the neighbourhood
The area is very beautiful and peaceful, with lochs and mountains all around. There are many amazing walks for all levels of fitness and there are also great mountain bike trails for those who prefer 2 wheels. For the less energetic, there are historic castles and distilleries to visit. The nearby villages have plenty of little coffee shops and home baking as well as some great restaurants.
Getting around
The cottage is 2 miles from the nearest bus route, and so a car is essential for getting around. The roads are quiet and you are more likely to be held up by a tractor than a traffic jam!
