TripAdvisor CERTIFICATE of EXCELLENCE achieved November 2017. This one bedroomed 17th Century holiday Cottage is especially designed for a romantic get away for couples in mind. It is located in a lovely historical village called Ebchester in County Durham, England. There is a Roman Fort buried beneath the grazing field at the back of the cottage and Red Kite birds are frequently sighted flying around the area. A cosy cottage down a short lane in an historical area of Ebchester. The owners are very thoughtful supplying a bottle of wine on arrival and some essential food. The cottage was lovely and warm - very welcome after a day out in November. We would love to visit it again and would recommend it to friends.
