Glentromie Lodge is a large self-catering holiday home situated in the stunning Cairngorms National Park. It is a traditional, early-Victorian Lodge, owned originally by the Macpherson-Grant family, and stands by the River Tromie on a private estate four miles from Kingussie, Inverness-shire. In recent years it was short listed for the location of the Highland home in the James Bond film “Skyfall”.

The Lodge is comfortable, spacious, warm and well equipped for a self-catering party of up to fifteen, and has a magnificently secluded and beautiful setting surrounded by natural woodland and with views across the glen. Deer frequently wander past the Lodge, and there are geese on an island in the river.

The lodge was incredible. We (15 of us) thoroughly enjoyed the venue. The setting is marvelous, rolling hills and forests abound. The Glen road is not owned by Glentromie so our hands have been tied for some years with regards to maintenance for access, but brilliant news is that the road is now being resurfaced in Tarmac! Half of the two mile stretch is now complete...More
