Holiday Rental House
This property is situated in a very quiet cul de sac about five minutes walk away from the busy little seaside town of Tenby. More information from our own website. When last inspected by VisitWales, the official body representing tourism in Wales we were delighted to have been awarded five stars for Rectory Court, classed as 'exceptional' and 'excellent'. Since then we have steadily maintained and improved standards. A large comfortable lounge with flat screen T.V. is situated opposite the modern, well-equipped kitchen . To the rear is a safe outdoor area with a table and chairs, quite safe for children, they cannot escape ! In front is private space for car parking and also a garage. We think this house is ideal for exploring Tenby on foot and lazing on the beaches and harbour . Because of the private parking it is also ideal for touring the wonderful National Park with some of the finest beaches and most spectacular coastal scenery in Europe. The Preseli mountains are about 18km away and offer excellent walks. The walking on the coastal path is spectacular and has to be experienced. For children the beaches are great fun and you can go sea kayaking or take a fishing trip in one of the many boats that offer all tackle plus the expertise of the skipper. Folly Farm is also a wonderful adventure playground for children of all ages. Oakwood is a large theme park suitable for older children. Heatherton offers a variety of activities and a visit the the Dinosaur Park is also great. There is a huge amount to do in the area, the only thing missing is enough time to do it all !More

Interaction with guests
We pay great attention to our guests and make sure that we are available during their stay for help and advice about what to do in the area and of course to deal with any problems that might arise.. When keys are collected we usually show our guests down to the house and explain the heating etc. We aim to be as helpful as possible without being unduly intrusive. The reviews give a good idea of the sort of service we offer.

The house was ideally situated for the centre of Tenby, which was only a 5 minute walk albeit mostly uphill. It was a similar distance to the lovely sandy north beach. The house was located in a quiet residential street with very little traffic noise....More

Additional amenities & feature info
The kitchen is modern and well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and a deep freeze. The units are of solid timber and warm coloured ceramic tiles on the floor add to the relaxed ambience of this property. There are so many restaurants within easy walking distance that the kitchen is a bit of a luxury ! The lounge has a large comfortable leather settee plus arm chairs and the colour scheme is neutral and relaxing. The most photographed harbour in Wales and its best beach are within five minutes walk. Our situation is very peaceful compared to the properties in the town centre itself which tend to be a little noisy at times.

About the neighbourhood
Tenby is a very quaint old harbour town of about 5000 inhabitants. It is surrounded by the medieval Town Wall which gives the town a very compact and intimate ambience. There are two superb beaches with wonderful views out to the islands of Cadey and St. Catherine's. There are regular boat trips to Caldey and also seal safaris and fishing trips available. Go coasteering ( jumping off cliffs and scrambling along the sea margins), sounds crazy to me but is very popular, as is sea kayaking which is also a lot safer. There is a huge amount to do, walking, golfing ( 10 minutes walk from the house ) and fishing, sea river and lake. There are also many attractions such as the Dinosaur Park, Manor House animal Park, Oakwood theme park, Heatherton activity center and so on. Horse riding is of...
How to get there
Tenby can be reaches by train from London (Paddington Station) or from the Midlands and the North of England. National Express bus service is also good. By car take the M4 motorway and then head for Carmarthen. After Carmarthen head for Pembroke Dock and then turn left when signposted for Tenby. At Tenby follow signs for the North Beach and turn right at the Albany Hotel. The Cul de Sac is on the right.
