Tigh Mor was built on the foot print of an old farm steading, in May 2014. Tigh Mor is a stunning large single story house situated in a rural area called Blairdrummond just 5 miles from the City of Stirling. The house enjoys panoramic views over the owners farmland on the Carse of Stirling towards the surrounding hills and mountains.

Comfortably sleeping 8 although a cot and camp bed can be added, Tigh Mor is very spacious with a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, a separate utility/boot room, 4 large bedrooms, 3 with ensuite shower rooms and separate family bathroom. There is oil central heating throughout and a Morso woodburning stove in the living area for cosy winter nights in.

Perfect home, well equipped, lovely country setting outside Sterling. Sterling is a very good central location to Scotland exploring. Down the road from beautiful Trossachs National Park.

Fantastic location, beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the comfy sofas looking out at the beautiful view. Enjoyed seeing the resident hare and also deers and pheasants. Beds were very comfy. It is evident this house was built...More

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful accommodation. It's modern and clean, and the layout is perfect for 2 families sharing. We highly recommend.

Blairdrummond Safari Park and Briarlands Farm are only a few minutes from Tigh Mor, ideal for families in the summer months.
The City of Stirling is steeped in history and a visit to Stirling Castle and National Wallace Monument are a must.
Another must when is Scotland is a visit to a whisky distillery, our local is Deanston Distillery which is about 10 minutes away by car.
We are on the edge of the Loch Lommond and Trossachs National Park where you will find some of the most stunning lochs, mountains, walks, and drives.
We have a number of local farm shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants all within easy drive-able distance. There are recommendations in Tigh Mor.
You will find directions to the nearest supermarkets in Tigh Mor.
Getting around
A car is highly recommend although there is a bus stop within 5 minutes walk of Tigh Mor.
For nights out we can recommend a number of local taxis companies.
For a trip into Glasgow or Edinburgh you may prefer to take the train. Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane train stations are all with easy reach and have car parking.
There are plenty of local and tourist maps in Tigh Mor.

Directions to Tigh Mor, Somers Lane, Blairdrummond_- Travel on the M9 motorway heading for Stirling. Leave the M9 at exit 10 (signed for Stirling), and go onto the A84 north (signed for Doune, Callander and Crianlarich), pass Dobbies Garden Centre on your right; go straight across roundabout at UA auction mart. Travel along the A84 for 2 miles (passing West Drip on your left) until you see the sign for Sommers Lane directly opposite the entry for Blairdrummond Safari Park. Turn left off the A84 onto Sommers Lane. Tigh Mor is the second house on the left just after the little old stone cottage called Tigh Beag. If using a SatNav system please note the post code is FK9 4AL.
