Interaction with guests
My policy is to greet guests and to say goodbye to them and then to be out of their way. You may see me pottering in my large vegetable garden, mowing the lawn or some other garden job but you may not see me at all.
However, if there is a problem then I will be at hand. You can knock on my door or just text or even email me. If I'm not around then other members of my family live nearby and could help in the unlikely event of a problem.
A lot of holiday properties in the area are owned by remote owners who use a rental agency or simply leave the keys. I know how frustrating it can be if something goes wrong and you can't get it fixed.

The few days we had were very peaceful. There are some lovely local walks and the sea is only a short distance from the accommodation. We have 2 small terriers and the forest is very close for walking them. The accommodation has ample cutlery and crockery with gas cooker and fridge. In all it was a relaxing few days.

6 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 younger children) stayed for a rather wet week at the end of August. In fact we had an additional person stay for a couple of nights and even then it didn't feel too cramped. It's pretty much got everything you need, and the WiFi is a real bonus when researching activity...

Bedding is provided but towels are supplied for a nominal cost of £2 for one bath and one hand towel if required.
Please note that where there is a high demand week or weekend within a price band such as a bank holiday or major attraction a higher quotation may be given to reflect the higher demand.
Direct to bank payments are preferred but cheques are acceptable if paid in time to clear one month before the holiday begins.

About the neighbourhood
The property is in a quiet rural area even though it is close to the sea. There is a good Londis shop within 1/4 mile, restaurant/pub within 200 yards and the village has a choice of shops, restaurants, cafes and a harbour.<BR><BR> It is a wonderful area for sailing, walking, cycling, swimming and general entertainment. There are a number of good quality attractions such as Oakwood, Folly Farm, Heatherton etc. and good night life in the surrounding area.<BR><BR>Out of season activities include the Tenby IronMan endurance race in September and the Boxing Day and New Year's day swims but there is always plenty to do.<BR>
Getting around
In comparison with some areas parking is quite low cost in Pembrokeshire but if you wish to leave the car there is a bus service which passes the property. This can take you to pretty much any of the main towns such as Tenby, Saundersfoot centre, Narberth, Pembroke and Haverfordwest.

Ferry: Pembroke: 15.0 km
Follow M4 until end. At St Clears take the left fork signposted Tenby and follow Tenby signs until reaching the New Hedges roundabout. Take the Saundersfoot turning from that roundabout. Mount Pleasant is the large house about 200 metres down that road on the right at the end of a line of bungalows. It has a stone gatepost at the entrance to the drive.
