The cottage is extremely well equipped with accomodation for up to four people plus two infants in travel cots. We can provide travel cots, stair gates and a high chair on request. Accomodation consists of a double bedroom (one double bed) on the first floor and a twin room (two single beds) in the attic. There is a well equipped bathroom with both bath and shower and an extremely well equipped kitchen containing a washer/dryer and dishwasher in addition to the usual fridge, freezer, cooker and microwave. 17 Hallgarth is a grade II listed building which is furnished in the traditional manner with a comfortable living room and seperate dining room. However our guests will also enjoy free unlimited WiFi and a good sized TV and DVD player. There is also a comprehensive library of books and some traditional board games. The cottage is lucky to have its own private parking space situated at the rear. There is also a charming enclosed garden which is in the traditional cottage style and is a haven for wild birds. The garden is fully enclosed with a bolted rear gate, in addition there are two large gates at the extreme rear which can be bolted shut if required. Please note that the garden does contain some toxic plants and there is a small pond. Rental includes all gas and electricity, all bedding and towels, unlimited WiFi access and a traditional Yorkshire welcome basket full of locally produced goodies. Please note that the basket does contain goods which include allergens such as gluten and milk. If any guests have food allergies or other dietary requirements please let me know so that alternatives can be provided. 17 Hallgarth is a listed cottage so its character must be preserved. It therefore has low beams and doorways, uneven floors and steps. For this reason we regret that our property is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. The garden is a traditional cottage garden which does contain some toxic plants and a small pond.More

Everything about Heather's lovely house was fantastic. Our first sight of the house was from the country cottage garden that was filled with colourful wild flowers. It was a natural sun trap and our dog Tilly loved it. The house was very clean and full...More

From the moment we walked in, my husband said 'I/we could live here' and that's before we even looked at all of it..We truly felt it was a home from home and that we just settled in straight away. There was also the lovely thought...More
