Brock Cottage has a fully fitted and fully equipped cream painted country kitchen diner with an oak table and chairs comfortably seating four, and solid oak floors and handcrafted beams throughout the ground floor.The light and airy sitting room has a log burner, comfortable sofa's and an LCD TV / DVD player with a stereo surround system. The proprietor lives on site permanently. There will be a member of staff on site to welcome you on your arrival (normally between 3pm - 10pm) we ask that you please contact us if you think your arrival time will be outside these hours. Our guests are accompanied to their chosen cottage & shown around the property ensuring that everything is more than suitable for their stay with us. The keys provided will allow guests to come & go as they please through the conservatory. Our guests are encouraged to make themselves & their party at home, using the facilities we have to offer as well as the wet weather provisions!

We are 9 miles from Pickering and a perfect base for those who want to explore the dramatic landscapes and picture postcard villages of the North York Moors.
A 45 minute scenic drive will take you over the heather laden moors to the traditional fishing town of Whitby, into the historic City of York, or to the Baroque masterpiece, Castle Howard.
The North York Moors Steam Railway stops at Levisham station, a short walk or drive through the forest, and just one stop away is Goathland, probably better known as the Heartbeat TV series village of Aidensfield.
