WIFI is also free and there is a woodburner with a basket of logs, a washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Ley Cottage is a very clean and comfortable place to stay, family owned and run, everything is kept up to a high standard and we are always available in case of any problem that might arise. Suitable for a couple or a small family, we welcome one dog (or 2 small) and there are wonderful walks on the doorstep. A king size bed, a small double bed and a travel cot are available so 4 adults (if the 4' bed is acceptable) or 2 adults, 2 youngsters (sharing) and an infant are easily accommodated. PLEASE NOTE: There is a pet surcharge of £15 per dog (max 2 small). Please let me know about dog guests at the time of booking so that I can amend your quote. Thank you. Sky TV and free WIFI mean that Ley Cottage is suitable for all. Ley Cottage is an old cottage and is quirky. The staircase is quite steep but also quite short so perfectly manageable! . There are electric radiators provided and the Woodburner works the central heating. The parking space is next to the cottage through a gate and there is additional parking on the lane outside the cottage.More

About the neighbourhood
Ley Cottage is very conveniently located for touring Cornwall - Nearby is the Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and Carnglaze Caverns, which hosts various concerts throughout the year in the famous underground caves. The North and South Coast are easily accessible (approximately 30 minutes) and the local award winning village of St. Neot (10 minutes) has a pub, shop and church. Trago Mills, just down the hill, has more or less anything you could wish to buy, including clothing, wetsuits, fishing gear, tools, fruit and vegetables, meat, bread, pies and pasties! Also a hairdressers, plenty of parking and peacocks amongst other things. The Loveny River winds through the Loveny valley just below Ley Cottage and the road adjoining the river takes you to Bodmin and beyond. Looe, Polperro and Fowey ...
How to get there
To get to Cornwall, you will pass through Somerset and Devon, both beautiful counties with lots to see. Glastonbury and all its mysticism is en route and Cheddar Gorge is easy to get to. Once you get into Cornwall, Ley Cottage is approximately an hours drive and easily accessible from both the A30 and the A38, even though it is in a quiet hamlet on a minor road. The most direct route to the cottage is a very narrow lane, but there are two other roads which lead to the hamlet. Details are given in the information pack.
