Welcome! This is a two bedroom holiday villa situated in Fitts Village on the spectacular West Coast of Barbados, in St James. Please be advised effective October 1, 2018 the Barbados Government, has imposed a Mandatory Levy for all tourist accommodation which will be applied to ALL existing and new reservations. Shared Economy Levy is 10% of the accommodation rate. Ajoupa 13 has a open plan kitchen, living and dining area that leads on to a covered patio on the lower level. On the upper level of this townhouse are two air conditioned bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a balcony with a sea view. The Villa was well equipped, very clean and a spacious 2 bedroom house. Great to have AC in lounge and bedrooms. Marcia, the Manager and Pearl, the housekeeper were very welcoming, professional and efficient. Happy to recommend.

The apartment is well located, just a few minutes walk from the local beach and supermarket. It sits back from the main road so is quite peaceful too. The main road is on the bus route, buses are frequent and quite good fun to use!...More

Hidden gem within charming locals neighborhood. Condo has all the basics including AC on the upper floor. Although small, kids enjoyed the pool for end of day dip. Lots of chickens and roosters milling around for early morning wakeup calls. Onsite neighbours were very friendly...More

About the neighbourhood
This district on the west coast of Barbados is ideal for a relaxing Caribbean vacation. Fitts Village in the parish of St James derives its name from the man who owned that western tract of land undulating toward the Caribbean Sea: Benjamin Thomas Fitt. It was its placement at the edge of a tranquil and clear blue ocean that would see the Fitts district become a predominantly fishing village. Fishing still goes on there to this day, extending toward its neigbouring Paynes Bay Fishing Market. The area contains several reefs and with clear blue waters its good for snorkeling. Public transport The standard bus fare in Barbados is BDS$2, please use local currency; no foreign coins are accepted on the Transport Board buses. Please note some buses do not give change. The buses can be easily identified because they are blue and yellow, the colours of the island's flag.
