Our second time at Whin and we loved it. Spotless, spacious and secluded Whin is a perfect place to relax. The owners are friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

Management response:

The house was perfect - quiet, spacious, clean, modern. The location was perfect - beautiful forest close to a village. The hosts were there for us if we needed something, but respected our privacy. Would recommend to family and friends without hesitation, I've no idea how the place could have been better. Wonderful!

Management response:

Thank you Henry and family. You were a delight to have. It is great to know you all enjoyed both the accommodation and the location. Haste ye back.

This stretch of coastline has several different names: it's known locally as the Colvend Coast, or the 'Secret Coast'. It's also sometimes known as the 'Scottish Riviera', thanks to its Gulf Stream-influenced microclimate. Rockcliffe is one of Scotland's prettiest stretches of coastline. It is perfect for exploring, with a network of paths giving access to most of the area, including the important Dark Age trading post of Motte of Mark.

Enjoy the variety of birds, flowers and butterflies throughout the year.

Rough Island is a bird sanctuary with nesting oystercatchers and ringed plovers. The island is accessible by foot at low tide.
