1 Hurstly Cottage is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all.
It is about midway between Lymington and Brockenhurst. Down a single track lane the cottage is set in a lovely, very private 1/2 acre garden, with areas of lawn and well established shrubs and borders.
The cottage itself is also lovely; Larger than it appears it is superbly set up with all those important things that make for a great holiday including 2 sitting rooms so you hav room to spread out when you want. The Kitchen is well equipped with an Aga and a traditional gas cooker and a microwave. There is a kitchen table so you can eat there or the Dining Room where there is a lovely large wooden table that has extra leaves to extend it up to seat 10 + people.
Down a couple of steps is the sunny Garden Room with 3 large comfortable sofas, a TV and DVD and a Stere...

Interaction with guests
We provide a welcoming bottle of wine and flowers. I try to be there to meet you on the day you arrive and live about 4 miles away so I'm on hand if there are any problems, which we seldom have. We can suggest lots of things to do and having lived and worked in and around the New Forest for many years we know the area intimately. We can also recommend restaurants and pubs locally so you can book prior to your stay. The gardener comes in once a week usually on Friday but other than that we will not disturb you during your holiday.

We stayed from 3-6 March 2017, a party of 4 couples. The cottage is wonderful, in a lovely quiet location. It is very comfortable and cosy, with a log burner in the dining room, an open fire in the cosy "snug lounge "and an Aga in the kitchen, as well as a standard cooker and full gas central heating. There is...

All rooms were nicely decorated and the cottage was immaculately clean throughout. The Aga was a lovely thing to come in to on a cold November. We...
