We had a wonderful week here. It was our first time to Westward Ho! and the owners had done everything they could to make the place a great place from which to base your week's trips. Fabulous apartment with everything we needed, gorgeous views and sunsets that took my breath away. Great beach only 4 minutes walk away and the pebble ridge and burrows. Nearby cafes and Restaurants and take aways so no need to stay in and cook. There is a small Tesco and Co-Op nearby which stocked most items. My husband used his mobility...

Location Information: Westward Ho! is a small seaside town located on the spectacular North Devon Coastline.
There is plenty to do without using your car or equally you could use Westward Ho! as a base to enjoy all that North Devon has to offer including a few quaint fishing villages with lots of character, Appledore, Instow, Clovelly.
The town of Bideford is just a short journey away (2 miles) with it’s many independent shops and restaurants, quayside and Pannier Market!

You can also catch the boat to Lundy Island, a spectacular island nature reserve.

From Bristol, Taunton or other North/East locations by car:
Take the M5 to J27 (Tiverton).Turn off follow the A361 North West following Tiverton signs.
Follow the A361 towards Barnstable. At the Junction of the A361/A39 just before Barnstable, take the A39 West towards Bideford. Turn right onto the B3236 following the signs Westward Ho! then take a sharp right turn and then the next left into Bath Hotel Road.
