This pretty stone cottage is situated on the outskirts of the Dinas village in north Pembrokeshire and close to the small cove at Aberbach which you can walk to through a pretty country lane close by. Pwllgwaelod beach is close by and is a small horseshoe shaped beach with access to the coastal path as well as a pub and seafood restaurant. A lovely walk around the spectacular Dinas Island headland leads to the little beach at Cwm Yr Eglwys with it's ruined church. There is ample space for storing bikes and boots for walkers and cyclists. On the opposite side of the road is an acre of ground for your use, with a fish pond, woodland garden and garden furniture. This single storey cottage, which is extremely spacious is very well furnished and equipped. The entrance leads into a light airy hallway and onto the: KITCHEN which is fully fitted, with pine kitchen units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and automatic washing machine; dining table and chairs. The LOUNGE is very comfortably furnished with settee and easy chairs, circular dining table and chairs, 43' HD ready TV with Freeview and CD/radio mini system. There is a bookcase, some puzzles and maps. The LARGE BEDROOM contains a kingsize bed and a single bed. Bedlinen is provided for the beds which have duvets. The BATHROOM contains bath with electric shower, wash hand basin and WC. There is a tumble drier in the garage, this also has access to the cottage with a ramp for wheelchair users. Garden and Parking On the opposite side of the road is an acre of grounds exclusively for your use, with summer house, large fishpond and a woodland garden with fir trees, rhododendrons, camellias and a variety of flowering shrubs. Garden furniture is also provided. Parking space for one car on grass in front of cottage. There is a lockable garage available to store bicycles and larger sports equipment. Other Information Oil fired central heating throughout. Oil and electricity are included in the rental from 1st April to 31st October and charged at a flat rate of £25 per week at all other times - please pay at cottage. To help the environment solar PV panels have been fitted. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. This is a non smoking property. WiFi enabled. Lovely gardens and close to the coastal path for walking. Good spot for cyclists. The cottage is well equipped and accommodates walkers and cyclists.

The cottage was well equipped. The kitchen, in particular, had unusually comprehensive equipment for a holiday rental. Although they don`t normally live on site, we did happen to meet the owners, who were very amiable. All in all, a positive experience. We couldn`t help thinking,...More
