Seglien, Morbihan, Brittany
Clandy Cottage is spacious yet homely. It is a renovated section of a 200 year old Breton longere, which in its past life was a cider press and farm building. The remainder of the longere is unused giving Clandy Cottage privacy, peace and quiet. It is ideally suited as a romantic getaway for a busy couple who need to have time to relax and unwind. Many guests have said that the photos do not do Clandy Cottage justice.

Being on the edge of the village provides the best of both worlds - the centre of Seglien is only a pleasant 3 minute stroll away, ideal for wandering up to get your French baguette and croissant each morning, whilst the absolute
tranquility is interrupted by the occasional farmer's tractor coming back from the surrounding fields, this makes for the ideal location for a restful break.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The place Is decorated and knitted out really well, including a good supply of books and DVDs is desired (although we didn't use these ourselves). There is a lot to do in the immediate vicinity if you enjoy walking and generally exploring quaint French towns. But there is also...

We had a second great holiday at Clandy Cottage in Seglien. Very peaceful Gite in easy distance of lots of things to see and visit or to just sit and relax with a good book and lots of wine! A new shop in the village made getting our breakfast croissants much easier than last year and was a 2 minute...

Management response:

Thanks Paul, for a great review. Pleased I got to meet you again this year. Hopefully see you again in the future.

We spent a very relaxing week in Clandy cottage, which is a great location for cycling on quiet country roads. The cottage is on the edge of the village and there is a small shop that has all your basic supplies, including croissants in the morning! There is no restaurant/bistro in the village but there a few within a relatively...
