If you are looking for a 3 bedroom house with a great beach, sea and landscape view, this is the one for you. Fantastic view of the beach and harbour is what most people comment on. We have free Wi-Fi and Sky TV with a selection of shows and films recorded. 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, double bedroom en-suite downstairs adjoining living room and kitchen.

You can go for a walk on the beach before breakfast, have a friendly chat with one of the locals then go to the shop for the paper and a chat with Peggy, the owner. Hook Lighthouse from the house, go there after breakfast and take the tour, then walk through the fields along the cliffs to Slade Harbour, a walk not to be missed, the scenery is amazing. About the neighbourhood
Duncannon is on the Hook Peninsula, 14 different bays within that area. Hook Head is at the tip, just across from Dunmore East on the Waterford side. Lots of historic sites locally, castles in Slade, Fethard-on-sea and Ballyhack, Abbeys in Tintern and Dunbrody, a fort in Duncannon. The big house and ghostly tours in Loftus Hall, the gardens of Kilmokea, arboretum near Campile. A lot to do in a radius of about 15 miles.

Take the ferry to Waterford at Ballyhack, only 3 miles away. See the fishing villages of Passage East and Dunmore East. Do the tour of Waterford City with its historic Reginald's Tower and other Norman landmarks. Waterford is the biggest city in the area, with all the big name shops and some good local ones as well. From Dublin, take the M50 south, on to the M11 and N11 to Enniscorthy, take the Wexford Road from there. At second roundabout outside Wexford, Duncannon Road roundabout, take 3 exit to Wellingtonbridge. When you get to Wellingtonbridge stay on the R733 for 6 1/14 miles, then turn right onto the R737. Approximately 3 miles on you will arrive in village of Duncannon. At centre of village turn right up street to top of village, there take a right past the hotel. 50 yards on you are at Beachview entrance. No. 10 is last house on first row of houses.

From Cork come to Waterford and take the road to Passage East, come across on the Ferry, turn right coming off the ferry, Arthurstown is about 1 mile on, come up the hill through the village and at top of hill turn right for Duncann...
