The church retreat is a converted 1960,s lutheran church and 110 year old school house <BR>Its set in a village of yerong creek south of wagga wagga, <BR>It has been set out nicely with a huge deck with firepit, <BR>Bathroom and deep bath<BR>Bar and entertainment area, loads old books, dvds, board games<BR>In the old school out back theres a pool table, darts, mountain bikes, table footy<BR>Loads stuff and garden games for the kids<BR>Sleeps 6 in a queen bed and double bedroom and two singles.<BR>Relax away from the tv and ipads with a glass of red by the fire,<BR>Wagga area offers wine tastings, junee licorice factory<BR>Anddiscover the riverina area

A true retreat
Our family of 6 stayed at The Church Retreat and found it to be well stocked with everything you'd need for a true retreat - board-games, books, movies, music etc. It was a former Lutheran Church which has been converted into a smart, artistic and usable rental home. The accommodation felt like a home that you'd been away from for 6 months - only to return to rediscover all those knick-knacks, toys and favourite items secreted away. The full size kitchen had everything you could want including a coffee machine. Outside was a fire pit and large fenced yard to explore. There was also a laundry and an old school building, set up with a billiards table, bikes and other toys for the kids. A wonderful place to stay for a night, week or month - especially for those wanting to escape the humdrum of city life.
