The Garden Cottage at Iden Barn, in the heart of Kent countryside can be found along a peaceful village lane. This beautiful conversion is attached, yet independent to a 300 year old oak barn (the owner's family home) that overlooks rolling fields. The perfect base for rural adventures. A beautiful spot in the fields, ideal for a few days in Kent, hiking with dogs in fields, directly from the cottage itself.

About the neighbourhood
Kent has many wonderful attractions and things to do. Close by there are wonderful gardens including Sissinghurst and Great Dixter to visit during your stay and the fabulous Leeds Castle is only 20 minutes away. This is one of the most beautiful Castles in England. Canterbury with its beautiful cathedral is also only a short drive away as is the seaside village of Whitstable.
Getting around
Due to the rural location a car is recommended during your visit. However local taxi's are available and local train stations have good links to London and beyond. Dover and Folkstone with links to France and mainland Europe is 40 mins drive away. The Eurostar from Ashford international is a 30 min drive and has links to France and mainland Europe.
