The two separate & independent gites share a LARGE (13m x 6m) heated swimming pool, which is overlooked by the spacious Summer Terrace, equipped with sofa, dining table and chairs, fridge with ice-maker, i-pod docking station and dart board. Next to the Summer Terrace is the gym, the 4 person sauna and the dedicated Table Tennis area. The grounds are mostly laid to grass with football mini-goals, volleyball/badminton net and 14ft trampoline with safety net all available for those with energy to burn! Huge garden - mostly laid to grass with football mini-goals, volleyball/badminton net, 14' trampoline with safety net, boules court and croquet lawn. Table Tennis table and Table Football table.With extensive secure inside parking space, and room for repairs if necessary, we are happy to offer the use of this space to competitors and visitors to the Circuit des Remparts vintage car hill race held every September in Angouleme.

Lovely welcoming accommodations, perfect for families. Stays are discretely supported by the on site owners, Ruth and Allan, who do everything they can to ensure guests have a memorable holiday. Excellent facilities. Highly recommended.

We are situated in a lovely rural location just outside the quiet little hamlet of Le Lindois, in the south of the Charente, surrounded by farmland and close to the borders of the Dordogne and Limousin. The quaint market town of La Rochefoucauld is just 10 minutes drive away with access to all the restaurants, shopping and the beautiful chateau. The historic city of Angouleme, the capital of Charente, is just 15 minutes further afield. If you are looking for a relaxing break or wish to explore what the area has to offer The Gites at Le Tilleul is a perfect place to base your holiday.With lots to do in the area from the nearby lakes of the Haute Charente with sandy beaches & the adventure park in local Massignac (10 minute drive).
